I am having a lot of fun with hero power mage, control priest and secret pala, liking this a lot more than the early gameplay of the last expansion (which was kinda lame as the meta settled too fast), what do you guys think so far?
so "fun" playing against same 30 cards 95% of the games, with exactly same start and exactly same draw order every single game. EFFICIENT IS SUFFICIENT, IT WASNT ME, EFFICIENT IS SUFFICIENT, IT WASNT ME
To be honest it was the least hyped I was for a new set in 5 years of playing this game. All I did for the previous 12 months was playing Highlander Mage towards the 1000 wins (and reaching Diamond 5 floor every month ofc.) and I achieved it in early March. However, this morning I tried Yagut's Tempo Rogue (don't understand the comments about Roguestone when your starting hand is Prep, Shadowstep x 2 and 2/1 pirate that doesn't damage face) and Viper's Murloc Shaman (with help of Murlocs I got 500 wins for Warlock using a homebrew deck, so I don't mind dem snowball gameplay) and it felt pretty refreshing.
I still don't know more than half of the new cards both from the Barrens and new Core but hopefully April's climb would not feel repetitive and faded.
Agree with OP and games have been extremely fun and refreshing, but I have been facing couple bugs:
1. My weapon couldnt attack any of enemy's minions. It only allowed me to hit face. They werent of course stealthed or untargetable or anything like that.
2. At start of my round, I couldnt play any cards. Had full mana and didnt have any increase mana cost but didnt allow me to select the cards I wanted to play (they werent even highlighted green, couldnt even select coin). Only said "that minion cant attack".
Most of it is fun, rogue I don't have a clear idea of the power level, but it just feels annoying to play against. Playing 30 000 random garbage every turn. Lackey rogue got replaced by battlecry rogue, and it does not really feel new infortunately
Well we've lost 3 expansions and are left with a lot less cards and effectively much less decks. The Meta at first expansion of the year is always bound to be the most boring and least versatile one by far. Once Meta settles, there won't be much "Fun" to carry us through the remainder of the months...

I hope they fix this soon
I was having a blast too with homebrewed self-mill warlock with jarax as alt wincon. The thing is we also mill the hell out of opponent too.
Surprisingly have a lot of heal, board clears and survivality against rogues...
Rank between gold 5 to platinum 5.
Might experimenting with Frenzy Post Warrior later
i really don't get it, i played about 25 games and did not meet one rogue until now

I'm not saying I have a problem with Rogue, I beat them consistently with Control Warlock. I'm just saying that they were ~80% of my games so far.
What rank?
