It's probably too early to judge any class power level or viability, though I won't be surprised if in the end your complaints prove to be valid.
Unfortunately, Team 5 has proved many times, that they do not understand their own game... or do they? My tin foil hat theory is that they deliberately print weak archetypes and underpowered cards for certain, less popular classes (usually Warlock and Shaman), to make them cannon fodder for more popular classes like Rogue or Demon Hunter. It sounds stupid, I know, but how else can you explain existence of Freeze Shaman or Self Deck-Burn Warlock? They must have known those will suck.

Yes, I think you are stretching it. There have been a multitude of failed archetypes for every class during the history of Hearthstone. Shaman has indeed had its moments in the sun, although they have mostly been brief in Standard.

True, but many of them failed only due to lack of further support, beyond few initial cards (though they had potential, Blizzard just never gave them a chance to shine). I was pointing archetypes that are (were) so bad, that they could never, under any circumstances, be successful. Why print them at all? Self Deck Burn Warlock is a great exapmle.
Random people play a few dozen games on day 1 of expansion and without understanding jackshite of how statistics work start whining that their favourite class is bad.
Like, I don't care about shaman, maybe it'll really be bad, but can you cease your complaining until you have anything to back it up with other than "they hurt me feefees I lost zo many games waahhh"?
Went 4-1 with a Murloc Shaman this am, but yeah, the aggro, board based archetype is super susceptible to the watch posts that were just printed. Good development for the meta, bad development for murloc shaman.
Have you tried a midrange shaman deck, that utilizes all of the good legendaries / value generators? Even HL shaman was a T2/T3 deck last expansion. Hell, even Evolve Shaman was in a decent place once Nitroboost Poison got nerfed. The class doesn't do anything broken, but it has playable decks.
Even though it is already quite early to judge the class. Shaman is top 4 of highest winrate right know (according to hsreplay) so again what are you even talking about and calm down!
My big complaint with Shammy right now is that Grand Totem Eye'sor is useless right now. Totem Shammy lost so many tools, and now this is a stranded legendary.

Something the Internet has really highlighted to me is that your average person is pretty stupid/ignorant/selfish. They will be hurtful or shitty far faster than they will be nice or positive and seem to think that just because they CAN spout off anonymously online then they MUST do so.
People also go in search of echo Chambers so complaining on a forum will no doubt attract people with similar complaints and there is a comfort in knowing others feel the same way, justification even. They can then go back to firmly believing its anything but themselves that are to blame for what they are unhappy with because they've had their validation from fellow anonymous people.
Thankfully most people understand that being this way in real life, face to face, is a terrible way to go through life so my interactions with people in a day to day basis are generally the polar opposite of the online experience. Just shows though that however nice a person is, take away accountability and consequences and they suddenly aren't very nice at all.
Well, my Elemental Shammy lost some steam once I started running up against control decks. Not fast enough (losing Bloodlust is noticeable) to get in ahead, and not enough reload to overcome the level of healing and removal that Warlock has. Still seems really good in tempo matchups, though. Has enough taunt and targeted removal to handle Rogue fairly well. And that 1 damage AOE taunt is great against big weapons and stealthed 1 health minions. Transform effects keep you in it against Libram Paladin (though that deck is still stupidly oppressive).
Still think it's promising. I haven't tried working in any significant amount of overload; could help mitigate the card draw issue and make some stickier boards against soft removal. Feels really bad against Brittlebone Destroyer, though...
I'm loving Whack-A-Gnoll Hammer; pairs really nicely with Arid Stormer. One issue I'm running into though is that I'm struggling to find on-curve activators for Marshspawn without the coin. Hate to drop it because it's a great card, but has felt awkward too often.
Of all the theorycrafted decks I've built since launch, elemental/nature shaman is the most consistent deck i've played so far.
Not the most fun or shiny deck, but a very strong one, the combination of strong overload tempo cards, incredible board clears and big face damage works great, if this deck has card draw it would be insane, it's the only weakness but even then there is Malygos the Spellweaver that helps a lot against control decks.

Will try to put a smile on yr face... eeek! :'D
I've been having fun with this. The Buffs to the Overload cards in core set are making things flow really nicely.

Add some weapons and hit face.
Except these cards were designed months ago but hopefully dropping asinine comments gets you the attention you so clearly crave.
NOTHING should cost 0 mana is a lesson they should learned by now... I insta concede when a Paladin plays Penflinger... I cant stand this.
"... but not less than (1)" is needed now more than ever!

Play malygos, card draw issue solved.
Nobody is talking about Wild. Shaman is very playable in Wild: Even Shaman, Infinite Shudderwock combos, Evolve Shaman, Big Shaman etc...
