dude chill, you cant be worse than me the last 2 pack openings, i came from 3 in 117 packs at the darkmoon faire, to 4 in 150 here in the barrens, im the one who pulls the average result down xD
Opened around 50 packs, went pretty bad unfortunately. I kept getting epics and rares for classes I don't intend to play, I got almost all hunter, shaman and priest epics. Guess which classes I did not mean to play ;)
Eventually I got almost all the rares, but I still lack like 6-9, again for classes I actually need them :P
I got three legends, the Taunt Druid Leg which I am unsure on. Saurfang which seems bad atm but I have hope Frenzy warrior will rise by the end of the year and the DH leg.
All in all a fairly underwhelming opening, but reading some of your stories makes me feel it could have been even worse ;)
I only opened 20 packs day one and got 3 legendaries. 2 are worthless to me as I don't play priest and shaman but I had 20k dust saved so crafted what I need right now and I've got 2k gold saved for 20 more later in the season.
I like the idea people were mentioning of a monthly subscription for access to all of the cards, even if it was only access to all of the from the previous expansions that would fair imo. The problem with it is though is that at that point the game cant really be considered F2P anymore because the F2P players would be at a huge disadvantage. Personally I've been F2P for years now and can sustain myself just through in game gold. Its a lot easier than people think, if you're willing to play some arena. 3 wins and you've broke even (roughly 50 gold and a pack) 7 wins and you have your gold back + a free pack. 10-12 wins and you're looking real flush. A good player can make an insane amount of gold just through arena runs. I'd personally rather do a couple of areas runs a day rather than spending 100s every month on packs but each to their own.
