Making him 2 mana would 100% kill the card. If they make it to where he just targets minions, it'd be MUCH better. Pen Flinger is the kind of card that makes you feel useless. There's almost nothing you can do against it. All they have to do is make him only be able to target minions. It's that easy.
I'm not a fan of the card design in all fairness. Mainly because I can accept one or two things that you cannot prevent but a repeatable chain that can then be stocked and used a high number of times, on multiple turns, with no real way to counter it feels crappy.
I played some games with it in Paly and honestly just felt like too much of a dick. I've not gone back to using the deck.
I get that a card which you can bounce and use in a similar way is a cool concept and can reward some really clever plays, I don't think flinger is the right form however.
He is balanced in a vacuum because eventually people run out of cheap spells. Libram of Wisdom is what makes him OP, because you will never run out of 0-mana triggers.
Changing it to targeting minions only seems like the most elegant way of nerfing it, that way aggro or Miracle decks can't abuse it for the face damage, it could still see play in Libram decks and Tempo Rogue
I have to say this might be my most hated card of HS ever. It just boring takes forever and is far too powerful. If you want to give every class lots of healing a card like PF is fine. But it seems like a card that should be nerfed instead of rebalancing the rest of the game around it. When you queue into ladder and 5 straight decks with different classes are playing it makes me not want to queue up for another one.
I think 10 dmg to distribute along minions every turn is too much already, even if it can't hit face.
I don't think the card is THAT busted, but damn I miss having just one day without seeing that card...

The card is very disgusting, it carries Paladin, Rogue and Warlock singlehandedly. Nerf it to only be able to target minions.
Yeah, i was really suprised, too.
I think they'll nerf it soon, because people are used to disenchant cards at the start of a new expansion - and Blizzard knows it best.
Nerf this, nerf that.
Can you just stop? It's too early anyway.
The card in question has been around for a while, this isn't a new gripe or even anything to do with the expansion.

I don't mind if they change the cost to 2 mana and it destroys forever that card. Its been way enough

Could also nerf it to deal 1 damage to a random enemy but that might not be enough.
Honestly I think a lot of people would be fine never seeing or hearing that card again:)
