It's not about winning against Secret Mage, it's about playing like 85% of all matches against them... That's what i mean. It's an horribly frustrating deck to play against.
Ok. So its about facing them and most of the time losing against them too, right? Instead if u won it should have been "playable" i guess?
The problem isn't even secret mage, but rather the holy trinity of Raza priest, Big priest and secret mage. This 3headed monster holds a stranglehold of the meta, as no deck has a decent wirate against all 3.
I recently crafted and started playing Darkglare Warlock and I can tell you that none of these 3 decks is a big issue. None is an auto-win, but so far I have above 50% WR vs all 3 (Secret Mage being probably the easiest of the three). Only aggro that can deal damage from hand is sometimes a problem (Odd DH, Odd & Kingsbane Rogue), but perhaps my deck is not optimized (I could add a Sunfury Protector and/or a Glacial Shard and cut a Spirit Bomb or so)
On a side note, I think Darkglare Warlock is disgustingly broken and deserves another nerf, especially since there is no real way to counter it (except for maybe teching in an Armor Vendor?)
Facing a lot less mages as im approaching higher ranks, now im heavily facing priests with secret mages/renolocks once or twice every 10-15 games or so.
They just need to change cards like Flakmage, because as soon as an aggro deck start losing to other aggro decks we should be seeing it less and less until it becomes just an averagely played deck in the meta. My true bane is Big Priest, even though you can easily counter it by playing hyper aggro or combo (like Kingsbane or Mill Rogue, both of which I adore) I still prefer not to face it.

only like 30% of the player base in hearthstone actually cares about winning. 70% play the game because they want to have fun. fun = rng/whacky combos/yogg moments/micro decisions and the likes. now these 70% of players don't like playing against secret mage, not because they lose, but because they don't get to play. there. they do not get to play hearthstone against secret mage. the game ends by turn 5-6. that's the issue. the solution is fairly simple. you just make one mode for the 30% with only secret mage and rezz priest and other S tier decks and then you make a second mode for the 70% where all the cards that make secret mage and rezz priest broken are straight up removed. it's really not that hard to do and it will happen somewhere down the line. my guess is 2025.

"It's really not that hard to do". You clearly have no knowledge of implementing features. How do you make a mode with specific decks. What if you have a fun wacky deck that has a few cards that also happen to be in secret mage or res priest? Are those cards banned too? How much resources will it take to create the new game mode, ect. While I agree that playing against secret mage and res priest is not fun, creating a new game mode isn't as easy as what you're making it out to be.
What is interesting to me, is that new Secret tech that we will get is odd costed (it is first useful odd costed tech against secrets). I am not sure how necessary it is, however i would like to add one or two in my Odd Warrior. It was already strong against Secret mage, however with increased consistency, you can farm them with ease. It is also strong against most of the aggro decks, which makes it perfect for farming the meta.

I'm a random dude on the hearthstone forum. there is absolutely no way for me to know what it takes to implement a mode in hearthstone. so all I can do is look at what Blizzard has done in the past to know if it's doable for them or not. and *big surprise* they have done it in the past!
what cards to ban? that'll take some data and discussion. as a starting point: anything that cheats mana before turn 10 and any oppressive early aggro card.

Old piece of advice from Dota 2: "If everything is broken, nothing is broken". That is state of wild in Hearthstone.

It isn't though, you're forgetting about Chief Inspector

Overload for Res Priest cards and nerf Kabal Crystal Runner to low costs only when secrets are on the board.
