So i've been thinking for a while, I don't want to spend $60-80 every 4 months anymore, this game is just not worth it, or any game for that matter, but I really like when I can experiment with most epic and legendary cards, so I'm wondering, do you think I can keep up with just the tavern pass of every expansion ? Maybe the mini-sets too, they don't cost too much.
My goal is basically to get complete sets, excluding total trash and meme cards. How far on the reward track would I need to get ? Hopefully closer to level 100 than level 400
The tavern pass gives the average, invested player about 2000 extra gold/20 packs and some nice extras. It's probably one of the best deals in the game, but it requires you to play the game everyday. You don't get these packs immediately though.
No. You want the cards from day 1. Tavern pass is an IV drip of cards you'll have to get by constantly playing the game. It's objectively more cards if you want to keep playing the game every day with the cards you've using the past 4 months, but if you're going to commit to playing the game, you need the cards from the big bundles if you want to have more than 2 viable decks.
Tavern pass is great for getting more gold and cosmetics if you are interested in the cosmetic stuff. If you have no interest in cosmetics, then tavern pass probably isn’t worth it. The slow acquisition of packs can be annoying, but it makes it easier to have gold to buy packs for the next expansion or mini set.
Small necro but considering buying the tavern pass.
Does the tavern pass only reward you with about 2,000 extra gold if active? That seems a bit low. I understand there are cosmetics, but I'm not into that. And the typical offer of 50 EUR 60 packs + 2 legendaries for pre-ordering seems more appealing in my eyes, or the other bundle's Blizzard runs in-between expansions.
Any intel on battlepass gains from someone semi-casual/hitting D5 and just doing your chores, and playing BG now and then?
