I have 7000 gold to spare and want to extend my possibilities to play in wild. I currently have decks for raza priest, cube lock, odd paladin, odd warrior and kings and rogue. I am interested in playing stuff like exodia mage or similar stuff that doesn’t end after 3 rounds (I tried Aggro Druid and yeah it’s fun but only for a few games). I have all the cards from the last 3 expansions and almost none from the expansions before (I just crafted cards specifically to play aforementioned wild decks). so where should I invest my gold?
fyi: I don’t want to invest it in the new expansion, I’ve got that covered.
If you want to be able to play various wild decks (both meta and meme), then as a general guideline, it's best to spend your gold in packs from expansions Boomsday Project, Frozen Throne, Kobolds that have lots of decent+ cards that see play in various decks. However for a more precise answer you'd need to make a list of how many legendaries/epics/rares/commons you would like to own, versus how many you already have from each expansion in order to accurately estimate the expected benefit of a pack from one of those
Thanks for your reply. Do you think it is preferable to buy packs from those expansions instead of buying new packs which will automatically become dust?
If you wanna play exodia mage, 2 cards are mandatory : Molten Reflection (Journey to Un'goro) and Emperor Thaurissan (Black rock Mountain). Mad Scientist (Naxxramas) is also a staple in the deck but you could eventually play it without.
In general I would suggest you to identify a specific deck that you'd like to play, and see where the cards are from.
Edit : I'm talking about the Archmage Antinodas verzion
The most stable version on exodia mage doesn’t run the quest and uses Thaurissan instead.
There is a guy “Solem” on YouTube that may have covered some of your questions in his videos. Druid is also a good class for OTKs, combos and long games, although it’s kinda expensive.

And how would you change your suggestions for the time warp version? :)
sorry, I should have been more specific.
