I'm not sure.... probably crafting hakkar hoping it would destroy all the mecha'thun and the other OTK bs running around at the time (spoiler alert...it didn't). That is pretty embarassing
Oh shit I crafted that piece of garbage too XD mostly just wanted to try the weird shit you can do with it, but uhm.... yeeearh, that might be my second regret :p
Believe it or not, there was a day when I actually took the game seriously. Nobody knows the amount of brain cells I've lost due to anger that very day.

You're not wrong - there is something inherently strange in just how much of a red mist Hearthstone can seem to make descend upon you when you lose a game in seemingly huge unfariness of circumstances. I've never known another game (or activity) like it to have a similar effect (on me, at least).
In fact on that note, I'll add a 4 to my earlier list. 4. Allowing Hearthstone to rule my emotions when I've lost a game badly and then been in a foul mood to those around me directly afterwards. They certainly didn't deserve that! ;-(
I don't really have any "big" personal regrets. I used to help organise a regular FSG in Toronto, and I got to meet lots of people over the years. My biggest regrets are honestly the folks I met who dusted their way out of the game. We had a FSG during the Un'Goro launch, and one fellow decided to dust all his Legendaries that rotated that day - sixteen of them. The "return on investment" is so poor that the fellow could only craft four Legendaries from the new set. He chose the Hunter and Warlock Quests and the Warlock Legendary (and something else I can't remember.) Since the Quests didn't exactly perform as was commonly expected, he basically threw away a year of grinding and all the Legendaries he had earned, with nothing to show for it. We warned him against dusting all his cards (we always do, during rotation.) Over the next few months, he played the game less and less, and finally stopped altogether - he blamed Blizzard the whole time.
well, my biggest regret was a bet with my friends, i was about to have an interview for a job, and i had a really hard time looking for one cause i got rejected from a lot of them, the bet was, if i had the job, i coud use my dust to craft a golden legendary of my choice (back then i wanted Haggatha hero card or Shudderwock), if i didn't.....well, the result is below ....
I crafted Hadronox in KofT, disenchanted it in KnC cause it was super useless, only to recraft it back in WW since it turned out to define a tier 1 deck.
Long ago, I think that were times of GvG, I decided to start crafting cards starting from leftmost in collection, and dusting all other, starting from rightmost ones. I think I regained sanity at TgT.

It's a sad story, but this type of thinking puts people in ruin in much more crucial situations. Investing in stocks or cryptocurrency when you cannot afford to lose that money, gambling or even getting big debts on your credit cards that you cannot afford, then blaming the system.
One time, about a year ago, I was on a boss fight to break in to legend for the first time ever.
It was around turn 8 and I was playing an aggro Rogue. My opponent was a Warrior.
I was winning, and I felt that elation creeping up on me that you get when you are on the cusp of hitting legend for the first time (you never get that feeling again, just the once).
My daughter (2 at the time) chose this moment to try to get my attention. She wanted me to watch her do some silly little dance.
I put my phone down and watched her dance for a few minutes. She was the cutest thing ever.
When her little fat ass was done and she waddled away, I picked up my phone to see the roper timer going off. In the three turns I had missed, I had been decimated. I gave the guy a "Well played" and conceded.
I have no regrets about this game. I've crafted a few shit legendaries before, but we've all been there. It is strictly a spare time type of thing that I will throw money in to once in a great while if it's something I really want. I will never give it any meaningful time from my life, though.
I got 3 Yogg Sarons (the old one). In that time, everyone thought that was a shitty card. I dust 2 of them. Then, blizzard nerfed it
My custom expansion: Game of Thrones

Reading that just... hurts XD

Crafting a meme deck that Thijs played on a Youtube video and wasting all of my dust.

Not disenchanting rag and sylvanas when they got hall of famed.
Dismissing battlegrounds from day 1. Now I play it way more often than ranked lol

Dusting oblivitron...not like I could make all of the wild tonk hunter deck, but obli would be so good to have and tonk hunter is a lot of fun.

Putting money in it.. One of the reasons I am still here is because of how invested I am (I do also have fun sometimes).
If I could I would move my wealth to MTG Arena and play that exclusively as my card game.
I started playing shortly before Curse of Naxxramas.
We still have a year!

I remember crafting the legendary weapon for druid for a wacky tavern brawl. THANK GOD THAT CARD ACTUALLY BECAME META.
Not getting the Sir Annoy-o-tron Hero skin when it was available.
I mean, I didn't have the money for it, so it's not like I really could have made a different choice, but I still regret that it passed me by.
HELLOOOOOOOOOOO!

I started the game playing just unranked so I missed the season 1 card back...
"... but not less than (1)" is needed now more than ever!
