In the new Barrens expansion spells will be classified into a seven spell schools Arcane, Frost, Fire, Nature, Shadow, Fel and Holy. My guesses are:
Demon Hunter - Fel, maybe Shadow
Druid - Arcane, Nature
Hunter - Arcane, Nature, Frost, Fire, maybe Shadow and Fel (due to dual class spells)
Mage - Arcane, Frost, Fire
Shaman - Nature, Frost, Fire
Warlock - Fel, Shadow, Fire
Priest - Holy, Shadow
Paladin - Holy, (Physical)
Rogue - Nature, Shadow, (Physical)
Warrior - ???, (Physical)
In this classification I was trying to follow WoW lore. As you can see, Warrior (also Paladin and Rogue had some) have all of their spells in school Physical, which means, that their spells are called abillities, and abillities are not counterable, or silenceable in WoW. What schools of those seven announced fit the Warrior most in your opinion? Or maybe some spells will not be classified into spell school? There were some number of spells and their schools in the Blizzard post, but I did not count them if all spells are there.
But actually, I guess the term "spell" is a rather generic wording that HS used in the early days to separate minions from the other playable cards.
I doubt they would branch out further and make "physical" abilities their own school, because retroactively making this synergize with all the old cards that use the word "spell" might be too complicated. Or maybe not?
Although it totally makes no sense for Counterspellto stop a warrior from activating Shield Block in WoW. In HS, it does... Maybe one day it will all make more sense.

Technically I think at least originally they were called ability cards.
Also I really, really, really hope they're removing counterspell and freezing trap from the core set.
Hunter I imagine will end up primarily with Nature, while most secrets I think probably won't be given spell schools on account of them being mostly nonmagical mechanisms. Explosive MIGHT be Fire, Snakes MIGHT be nature but it depends on the logic that Blizz uses when making these decisions. Clearly we're not assigning these only to damaging spells, what with Paladin's Librams and that new Priest spell, so are Hunter's Beast-Summoning spells going to be Nature? Animal Companion is literally just calling an animal companion to help in combat, that's not very magical if they're like 10 feet away lol. Treant Summoning spells I think are more obviously nature.

Not every spell will have a spellschool, just like not every minion has a tribe

Wouldn't be that hard to give spell schools to warriors in Hearthstone imo.
