The next Rogue portrait should be Wrathion (in human form).
The obvious choices are: Jorach Ravenholdt, Mathias Shaw, Garona, and Tess. But IMO, there are enough humans and Orcs in general. It would be nice to have a dragon (even though human form- but could maybe turn dragon for some moves or something), and someone who's not female or white (middle eastern descent).
Lillian Voss would also be killer (in undead form) since there are no Undead portraits (Kel doesn't count-he's a lich).
“THIRD: Yes, Blizzard for sure should make some general LGBT non-binary-sex Hero skin and give it free to all players, so it does not matter which class you play. “
Can you just... not? There’s plenty of areas that could use a facelift in this department, but even the suggestion of force feeding this mentality on a computer game that is intended solely for fun is an absolute travesty. If anything, rather than promoting some gender-identity equity agenda, it radiates a sense of pompous and self righteous authoritarian tones which actually work AGAINST the goal of leveling the gender playing field.
Wait, why is LGBT even discussed, all I can see is Dean Ayala confirming new rogue skin, who cares about that shit, this is Hearthpwn not Twitter.
There really are people who care most about skin gender, of all things in this game ?
I agree it doesn't make sense. There is a few straight couples in the game sure. Malfurion/Tyrande and Emperor and his wife. I just don't see the point of forcing something into the game because the world wants it. I've never played a card game and noticed it needed sexuality. I do like the addition of black characters though.
'cuz some people wanna see representation, and there IS a queer aesthetic that is noticeable for some people.
It's not like essential, but asking for it/wanting it isn't some terrible sin against the game or anything. And it's not necessarily an agenda or someone being pompous, maybe it's just something they'd like to see? I dunno.
Buncha psychos on this thread who think an LGBT+ skin would be "forcing" anything. It could literally just be a canonically gay character, one whose hero portrait never directly eludes to it, you could never know, and if you did you could just *not* play it.
Let people be represented, it does no harm to any person.
Elexxtron didn't you just had a similar thread taken down by the Mods because of how political it got. You didn't learn from it?
The thread was locked because I was unwise and DID NOT PROVIDE THE SOURCE OF INFORMATION, okay?
Quoting Scorpyon:
"I'm locking this thread before this goes down a path a lot of people here will regret. By all means, discuss the new skin in terms of the game itself and how it fits into the lore, etc, but we don't entertain culture-politics or social politics here due to the arguments they always produce.
LOCKED."
And this thread is walking down the same path. It had nothing to do with your "source of information" Elexxtron

I agree with your post, but to be honest modding on these forums isn't exactly consistent. I think they all mod by their own set of rules and whether a thread gets banned depends who is around at the time.
Ayala clearly confirms that we will be getting a Rogue portrait with ANOTHER character than Valeera, so the new Book of Heroes portrait is not the one he's referring to.
I'm personally hoping for a male character, just for variety's sake. It might be a bit silly, but I do think different heroe portraits impact my game experience. Playing with Nemsy feels different than playing with Guldan or N'Zoth, and that's why I would like to see a wide range of different characters, both in terms of gender and race (whereby I mean orc, troll, gnome, ect.). It's just more fun to me that way.

It's forcing in the sense of explicitly adding something only for the sake of making a statement. Were the other characters chosen to represent cishet people? What does it even add to the game to know the orientation of a character?
I mean, what if one of the characters IS gay but it's never stated, so you don't know? Doesn't it say more about you, defaulting every character to cishet unless explicitly stated otherwise?
My guess is if the second expansion is Stormwind-themed, then Matthias Shaw could be the pre-order hero.

Just my thoughts/rationale.
Thank you.
Thats book of heroes. Valeera is getting anither character as a skin.
Non-Binary? I mean you can literally play a TREE and Lei Shen is a titan-construct, he doesn't have a cock.

Since when does having a sexual orientation equate to social justice. It's just reality.
enough discussion we already have a gay hero portrait: ANDUIN
