For the price of the new Heroskinpack i just bought Destroy All Humans! and Fallout 76 including the Brotherhood of Steel Expansion.
For that price i could also buy Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and have some bucks left for eg. Fear 3, Blitzkrieg 3, Assassins Creed Revelations.
Or some combination of DOOM, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, Titanfall 2, Into the Breach, Command & Conquer remastered, Gears 5, Terminator: Resistance, Kenchi, Torchlight III, and many more.
I thought the price was not worth it. we just got 5 skins with the tavern pass 20% exp more gold for like 20 bucks CAD. now they are asking 35 CAD for 4 skins ? I really like the fact that they pump out lots of skins but I'm skipping these ones. there will be a lot more cooler ones in the future for way less with the tavern pass for more value.
Prices are really not worth it, What I would have liked to see was them being unlockable for a period of time but only get to choose one of them, and the others put on the store...

I really don't understand why people always complain about the costs of cosmetics. If you don't like the skins, don't buy it. It's easy as that. When you look at the cost of CoD Warzone, there is one Operator Skin, mostly 2 Weapon Blueprints and 3-4 other cosmetics for 20+$. Same goes for Fortnite and enough other games. Theses games are free and need the shop incomes to provide further support for the game. I play Warzone regularly and never bought something from the shop, because i thinks it's way to expensive. But never ever would i complain about it. It's only cosmetics....

If they need the income they can offer content that we actually want for that price.
Lucky for me, I don't want any of those games, and I don't mind spending a little money on games I DO like. I guess a "waste of money" is different from person to person, what a crazy thought.

To be fair - you don't speak for the community, and no one else does . . .
In any event, there are 24 million of us, and it's a pretty heterogeneous bunch. Presumably, a very small portion of those people care about cosmetics, and an even smaller portion enjoy complaining about cosmetics on casual gaming fan-sites. Presumably, you don't belong to first group, but do belong to the second. There is a third group - folks who don't mind spending money on the game in order to purchase some cosmetics. Lots of folks in the second group like to complain about them - it's a free country, and they ought to complain if they feel like it. But you'll also have to concede - that doesn't mean their complaints have any merit.
Youngblood is a horrible game, too much sjw. And yes, the skins are expensive but, they weren't made for our market, it's for Xing Ping's ppl market...just accept.
They started to print a lot of skins, but not too many are better then skins that we got long time ago. I would rather see 1 skin per expansion, but with different animations, voice lines and not 5-6 skins of Jaina, I am sure there are a lot of WoW characters who deserved to show in the game as heroes.
In my opinion skins are a complete waste of money, but if selling skins keep's people happy and keeps blizz (hopefully?) investing in the game then it's fine. They don't effect gameplay so who cares?
If skins ever started to give you +5 health or start with 2 mana, then it would be something to worry about...

This is my opinion about the SKINS.
SKINS vs GAMES? Hard choice. NOT! Games! :)
The skins are also complete generic garbage

NOW that is a great idea..!

Do the Chinese New Year skins have new voice lines?
In all honesty OP, I think you've wasted money there still with those games. Absolute waste of money, trash games.
They use nearly the same voicelines, but the pronunciations 'r' and 'l' are swapped.
Lets say, if they release Captain America Uther, Caesar Garrosh, or Buzz Lightyear... er whatever, is it worth to pay the price to get those skins?
For those who are familiar with Three Kingdoms, Guan Yu, Lu Bu, Zhuge Liang are all huge characters. Its obv good feelings to have them in collection.
If only they come with a cardback, don't even have to be four separate cardbacks, just one for the Three Kingdoms...
I couldn’t agree more with the OP. Should be used as an example in investopedia of what isn’t “value for money”
useless cosmetic cr*p like this should cost $4-$5 max and even then very few would buy it.
I would honestly feel embarrassed to use these hero skins as my opponents would figure out how much of a loser I should be to spend $25 on this cr*p
