There are many hated decks in the game that are horrible to play against but nobody talks about the ones that you can actually enjoy to play against so this is why this post was born.
These are mine with the main "timeframe" when they were relevant but I'd be very interested to see yours (with reasons if you have time)
So, without wasting any more time we have: (in no particular order)
1)Deathrattle or midrange hunter that sacrifices burst for rexxar (I think it really took off in boomsday):
it was legit the only deck at the time that had the decency to give me an actual game that lasted through my 30 cards...he did not try to kill me by turn 4 or OTK/infinite/mill me to death.
Also YES.... you could/can grind DKrexxar out as a control deck since fatigue squishes him (unless he gets megalucky) preventing him from ACTUALLY going infinite. It was/is a very bad matchup for my decks but one I never percieved as unfair.
2)hadronox druid (witchwood/boomsday iirc):
for very similar reasons to the previous one, including the bad matchup one (I enjoy a challenge,as long as it's fair...what can I say?) also with the added "benefit" of being able to tech against it...somewhat reliably...well the RNG on the resurrect WAS annoyng but I do not recall ever hating it that much. Naturalize is the only REALLY stupid part of that deck
<as a sidenote:both could highroll you like crazy and it was horrible that's true but I still think it happened in a way that was better and more counterable than MANY others>
3) most,if not all, the decks I actually play.
4)cubelock with no doomgards (from Kobolds onwards until I switched to wild and had to deal with mal'ganis):
I just always liked the concept of this deck, the practice is a bit more "rough" but aside from the "5 doomgards shenanigans" and mal'ganis I do not hate it.
5)I WOULD say control/reno warlock if it didn't run cancertus and all the distruption BS like rat or nosferatu
6) even paladin (whenever it was in standard,I haven't really seen it since I got into wild):
I have NO idea why, I cannot for the life of me find a reason...I just never once felt bad playing against it
I loved playing against even paladin cause that meant not playing against odd paladin. I know even paladin was the better deck but odd paladin was just way too polarizing and required very specific counter cards
Secret mage used to be such a deck before the last rounds of improvements which made it broken.
I have usually enjoyed playing against decks with a similar "speed" to my own, aggro vs aggro, mid-range vs mid-range, control vs control etc. Even aggro vs aggro matchups can be challenging to play with the game hinging on every move you make. Aggro vs control are usually a lot more binary, and are often decided by draw.
Resurrect druid was horrible. If you mean control warlock with cubes, I hated that deck too. Even paladin was a fair and balanced deck post nerf but before that it was pretty much tier s

I always enjoyed "resurrect" druid (hadronox) since it was something you COULD fight through the bullshit and come out on top provided you built and teched your deck correctly (namely transform effects into beasts and well....TONS of boardclears)
You may have missed the point of the thread if you think I hated cubelock, The only things I hate about those decks are shitfacetus and the disruption/mill BS that they sometimes run...other than that I love facing them
