Armor Vendor is pretty neat-o. I feel like I can play one more turn against aggro and maybe slow down the pace just a touch. It's nice.
Is it meta changing? Maybe, maybe not. But I like it.
By the way, what is the meta right now? Because I feel like it's a bit all over the place. We've got aggro, we've got control, and we've got in between.
Libram of Judgment became staple in Pure Paladin and Libroom Paladin straight away. The win rate was high before, but this card most certainly strengthen these decks by some points.
To think that out of so many great cards in this set, the most influential of them all would be fuckin Crabrider LOL. Cheese Paladin is pure degeneracy, but im giving it a pass cuz its something that has never happened b4 in HS history, its days are numbered anyways. Good to see Druid got out of the gutter too.

Eh? Is it really that cheesy?
It's mostly the cards doing what they were designed to do.
That makes it all look even worse. Was Allura always meant to enable stupid broken highrolls like this? If that was the developers intention, someone needs to get fired.
I prefer to give Team 5 the benefit of doubt and believe it was just an oversight. Allura + spell on turns 4/5 is an autowin against 95% of the meta, with nothing to tech against. No way in hell that is intentional.

If the only spell you play is Tip the Scales coupled with spell generators, how is that a highroll? It is just as "highrolly" as playing Nozdormu on curve. The deck was just very well thought off.

Of course. That's the whole point. If you build your deck with only expensive spells she pulls expensive spells.
Maybe combined with Tip the Scales she's too strong, but that's still an intentional interaction.
Allura really is just another Barnes, the amount of high roll is too high, I won't be surprised if they nerfed it to 5 or 6 mana, especially if they print more cards like scales or gallery in the next expansions.
I think it’s probably a success by some measures—Blizzard succeeded in giving a fairly priced package of new cards and while not all of them are viable now, I think it’s likely they will have more influence come rotation.
it didn’t shake up the composition of the meta completely, but the meta feels a little different than before. Arbor Up and Nitroboost Poison are probably seeing the most play, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Lightsteed and Landslide open up some new territory for Priest and Shaman later.
I think it’s surprising that Ramp Paladin came to prevalence when it did. the Crabrider really can’t be the thing that was missing to get this deck to take off. And you would think with there would be more warlocks and priests running Hysteria for it, but all anyone could see was Tiller (Hey now!!)

The only plays that can answer a turn 4/5 Allura + spell is Brawl and Lord Barov + enabler, all other decks concede on the spot, do you srsly believe this was intended? Evolve Shaman was nerfed for making huge boards too early.. very ironic dont you think?
My guess is they just thought paladin would always want to play multiple spells, so Alluras highroll potential would be lower, aka an oversight.

Drawing Allura early when you have the coin IS the highroll, cuz it instantly wins you the game in 90% of all matchups. Nozdormu at least gives you 10 mana to work with, Allura + coin has almost no counterplay.

A deck being well thought of is irrelevant if the deck is broken. (Not saying it is broken but it probably is if all the pros are playing it)

I know Druid got an OP card that gave them a tier 1 deck. Anyone else get anything meta chamging?

Are we in a good spot right now?
Hysteria is grat and might be very strong in future Control Warlocks and Priests.
Libram of Judgment became staple in Pure Paladin and Libroom Paladin straight away. The win rate was high before, but this card most certainly strengthen these decks by some points.
Nitroboost Poison seems to be popular.
save Ramp Paladin, every tier 1 deck got an anchor card from the set so Its having an impact

It was a success that you could get it with gold, and it has made impacts to the meta.

Yes. There has been a noticeable change, probably for the better.

I think it was very good for all classes except Priest and Hunter.

It changed the meta from aggro to more aggro....even though i like to see decks changing in middle expansions.
