I saw this type of the deck on this site, but I didnt play against it. Even on Syndicate report didnt see it. So I am curious, is this deck viable? Anyone trying it out or playing it in the current meta?
I am missing 1 legendary to craft it (Ras), but I am not sure is it smart to invest 1600 dust if the deck isnt viable.
You could test the deck with a substitute card for a while.
I am fairly certain Brian Kibler played thst deck for a good amount of time when the mini-set first came out. You could look for clips on Twitch, or maybe YouTube.
If you're short on dust, I wouldn't do it. I put the deck you're talking about together, with the 6/6 that copies itself if you have spell damage, arcane watchers, and burn plus rune dagger and some other spell damage stuff. It wasn't terrible, but Evolve, Totem, and weapon/aggro shaman are all materially better.
Furthermore, Ras Frostwhisper is a fairly niche legendary. I know a mage deck will use it every once in a while, but I haven't been particularly impressed with any deck that runs her.

Enjoying Americans winning in the Olympics is forbidden because it is political. A 14 plus page discussion of state-sponsored lawsuits against a multi-national corporation based on harassment, discrimination, and wrongful death allegations is apparently not political enough to raise an issue.
I just did some research, and it looks like a tier 3/4 deck with very polarized matchups. It notably sucks against hunters, paladins and warriors, but does well against druids and slower warlocks .
I've played this deck a few times with moderate success (last time I played, 9 days ago, I went 5-0 at around ~8000k legend). The current meta is still very fluid so it's hard to tell how good/bad the deck is and also what is it the best build. For example the 6/6 that copies itself if you have spell damage might be too slow/expensive for an aggro meta, but great value in a slower meta. Similar for Lady Vashj as well as the 5-mana 4/4 that discovers a spell. In any case Landslide is a great addition to the deck and helps a lot vs Aggro Rogues and Token Druids. As for Ras, I think the card is great and I also love him in my Odd Shaman in wild (which plays a similar spell damage burn game)
I've hears some people claiming to have good success with Odd Shaman though I struggle believing it honestly. From my own experience, one version with Ras Frostwhisper and another without, Ras is a good addition, and the deck is not "bad", so you can certainly win games with it, but my guess is that it's not a top performer. It has some early board strength with a good amount of burst damage, but some decks summon a better board faster, or can deal with your totems reliably (like Odd Rogue).
More of a decent "fun" deck than a serious competitor, but if some data come up, they might suggest otherwise. I'd be surprised to find it listed as tier 2.
Odd Shaman is more like a tier 3 deck I'd say. Last time I played it I was getting completely destroyed by Secret Mages, but Reno Priests (and also Embiggen Druids) were a great matchup. Secret Mage is a lot more popular than Reno Priest at the moment so I'd say the deck's standing is not great right now. I assume it would also struggle vs weapon decks (Kingsbane or Odd Rogue) too

And how it goes with Odd Shaman in wild? Any success?
