In case you don't know, Waste Warden is a 5 mana 3/3 that deals 3 damage to a minion and then 3 to all minions of the same type of the original minion you used the battlecry on. The 2 "new" flavor of the week decks atm are Ramp Paladin and Treant Druid. Warden means that you can clear stuff like glowflies or treant boards and cut their tempo and buff plays. With Ramp Paladin, their insane power play which has the deck performing so well is cheating Tip the Scales early with Alura or playing Nozdormu and dropping it from your hand. While the Warden doesn't help against the Big Nozdormu part of the deck it for sure can take almost all the Tip the Scales pressure off the board, as like 6-7 out of the 10-11 murloc the deck runs only have 3 health at best. I'm not saying it should be a 2x in every deck but at least running 1 seems like a good consideration for a bunch of slower decks.
What are you smoking? Waste Warden doesn't work on glowflies or treants, only actual tribes.
Ok first of all stop being a prick, it does work with glowflies as they are all beasts, you better check the cards before trying to act superior. Second well I thought it might work on treants as the card says same minion type and not TRIBE. But even then, a lot of decks lose to glowfly on the spot and almost all murlocs paladin runs does indeed die to 3 damage and that can destroy a paladin on the spot.
to be fair, YOU probably should have checked the card before making a post on it. The meta is still shifting, I think that waste warden will start appearing more often if spell druid and ramp paladin solidify in the meta.
The teants not being a tribe thing has always been strange to me. Considering that there are cards that count your treats across different expansions for a card’s effect (Aeroponics or Goru for example) it stands to reason that Waste Warden should see these are the same type of minion even if they wouldn’t belong to a tribe

Well as I said, even if it doesn't kill treants it still is a card that can kill the 2 power spikes of the 2 decks that are looking very scary. The board full of murlocs and full of glowflies is the best early play each of those decks has and the Warden can indeed deal with both of those boards, completely in the case of Druid and at the worse like 80-90% of the paladin one.
It's unlikely to be very effective against an early Tip the Scales. You'll leave the beefier, more resilient Murlocs like Circus Amalgam and Murgur up, and the back half of rushers like Fishy Flyer will simply come straight back at you.
For a tech card to see play it has to be either an okay-ish card by itself, hit a variety of decks in the current meta, or hard win you the matchup you tech it for. This card is bad by itself (5 mana 3/3 deal 3), doesn't hit many decks, and doesn't even necessarily win you these matchups. As a slow deck, you still have to deal with the other 5000 boards that the druid is going to make or the big bombs that the paladin plays.
Also, what decks would even be interested in this effect? The only slow decks that, in my experience, exist right now are warriors which have better cards that do a similar job without sucking in other matchups (Brawl, Skipper, Bladestorm). Maybe an off-meta highlander deck might run one of these.
It certainly has a place in control decks which are weak at the 5 mana slot. That said if you happen to face lots of low health aggro decks it can be a game winning card, especially against pure aggro decks that want to refill the board over and over. But you also need healing and powerfull bigger lategame threats of course, boardclears only rarely win games on its own. Could be interesting in rogue to bounce it multiple times.

No

Actually Waste Warden does work against Glowflies because they are beasts.
You're right, I forgot they were. My bad.

Its good card. People are just blind
I am small streamer from Poland, i love playing hearthstone and do my own decks.

Take a look at my most recent deck, Watch post, totem, menagerie shaman.

The is card is 2017 powerlevel that's it doesn't see play. If it worked on Treants and/or was 4 mana then it might see some play.
Good arena card, apart from that its pretty much unplayable.
So toxic.
It works on treant totems!!!
Actually it does work on glowflys (beasts) and .. treants is an interesting point that is a tribe but I’ve never tried it.
Welcome to hearthpwn.

With insane 5-mana AOE like Mass Hysteria in the game, it should not be surprising that a hyper-situational tech cards like that do not see play.
Feel free to try it out, but I fear you will be disappointed...
