I used to do that, but now they released Duels which punished me to hell and back since it uses old cards as well. Normally I see it as a good way to get 20-30k dust so that you can create a lot of new decks when the yearly rotation happens.
I rarely play wild but i never disenchant cards, i like collecting them all, but i'm weird like that i guess.
Sure i can't afford all good legendarys when the new expansion drops but oh well...
You are totally normal. I play wild partly because of those old cards. It feels a lot steampunk-brass-ish, that I can almost smell it - brass, oil and old leather :)

I don't play wild so I disenchant them I fkn hate some of the cards that is op broken annoying so I see no reason to play wild where decks consist of most hated cards.
I disenchant only golden legendaries and golden epics. I prefer to keep other cards not only for duels, but for brawls, daily quests like murloc one etc.

English is not my native language, so, with a high probability, mistakes were made.
No, because i still miss old times when it was fun
Now, I play only Wild and I've being on Hearthstone since Closed Beta.
So please remind me the good times. Was it with Naxx Hunter? Face Hunter, with no counter? Mech face decks? Secret Paladin? Jade Druid? Crystal Rogue? Just trying to remember some of the "good times".
I disenchanted every single one in the last rotation as I will never play wild / duels. I needed the dust at the time but I’m not sure what I will do this time round. I may keep some good ones
i play wild only. some time ago i used to disenchant some cards to get new expansion cards. now? missing ~ 180 epic and 80 legendaries to full collection. i dont have ghuun onlz from madness. and last released cards i dont have are from boomsday (5 legendaries)
I disenchant every single one of them so that I can craft new cards from current expansion and enjoy them. I don't play wild so no reason for me to hang on them.
I never disenchant regular cards that rotate into wild.
On occasion, I play wild decks and there are some really fun ones to play ... deathrattle rogue, deathrattle hunter ... quite a few actually that are not your standard run-of-the-mill ladder deck ... but I've not played wild in a while now (about a year). Anyway, I see it as a waste of my time and effort to disenchant cards when they rotate. What have I been doing the past year if I just disenchant everything? I might want to revisit some of the fun decks I've been playing as I meme my way up the ladder each month.
I do dust all golden cards once they rotate into wild (if they are duplicates). The chance that rotating cards are nerfed is pretty small, so I use the big influx of dust to craft cards I'm missing in standard sets. E.g. I have a golden Making Mummies ... and a regular one ... so that will become a legendary from the set released at rotation.
Duels is crap. But wild is still fun at the very bottom of the ladder where you can meme. Sadly that getting harder over time as more and more OP cards in circulation and the general power level of expansions has increased - a shame because for a while there it was the most fun you could have in constructed hearthstone. Now I feel its probably Standard again.
But no, I don't dust them. The only winner when dusting a non-duplicate in this game is Blizzard. The dust return rate is a joke.
I used to dust everything right at rotation, because I had no dust. But now I'm being a bit more economical about it and try to only dust stuff when it gets nerfed so I get a full refund. Or if I really need to craft a new card when an expansion hits and I didn't unpack one...
I wonder why they have never addressed the dust rate? Do they think it's been so long that they can't go back on it now? Honestly, if the dust rate was just always 1:1, who loses here?
People would still need packs to get new cards, because there are so many, and then if people unpack a card they don't like, they can basically trade it for one they do. This game is based off of "trading" card games, after all, and since we can't actually trade...

Only if I really need the dust. And in that case, I only disenchant epics and legendaries (preferably bad ones).
I'm not big on duels, but it did make me reconsider things a bit.
i always disentchant all the useless cards for wild, even if i play now and then

I dis all epics, legendaries and golden rares to get the dust. I almost never invest any money into HS

Just don’t. I switched to wild last year and I miss all my cards so bad.
Never, big nostalgy.
I disenchant only golden legendaries and golden epics. I prefer to keep other cards not only for duels, but for brawls, daily quests like murloc one etc.

Disenchant only bad Legendary and epic that never see in play.

Yes, I do, except for Legendaries, golden cards and commons (because they provide only a minimum amount of dust).
I disenchanted every single one in the last rotation as I will never play wild / duels. I needed the dust at the time but I’m not sure what I will do this time round. I may keep some good ones

slowly i fill my collection

This is true. So true.

Doesn't seem that unreasonable to me.
