I have been playing this game for almost six years now and I can say, I know it, ok
With the new system, which I find cool btw, there seems to be a decreased drop-rate for legendaries in the packs. I have not done the math, but maybe somebody else has.
Could somebody please second my sentiment with hard facts or tell me that I suck and need to git gud?
I have found I've been getting more legendary cards this expansion than any other previous. I think it just comes down to luck.
Yup. This. Pack opening is purely based on your RNG. It just so happens yours is on the low end this month, op. It happens to the best of us. I remember one time a couple months back I picked up the 70$ pack bundle (pre progression system fyi) and only opened 1 legendary. Then two weeks later I did the same thing and got 5 (3 regular, 2 goldens). *shrugs*

Yeah that's incorrect. I bought the larger bundle this xpac, which is what I've done every xpac, and got more legendaries in packs than any previous expansion. Not counting the free ones from the track, I got 7 in my 80 packs plus about 10 packs from gold. I currently have 21 legs from this set which is pretty in line with previous sets; I have 20 from scholo, 19 from Outland, 21 from Galakrond's Awakening.
I also have an unspent 2800 gold and 2850 dust, which is more than I've ever had saved before.
Don’t be that toxic, “Maybe, you should try tot learn English or learn to read. Thank you” this sounds rude, cos, you know, there are other people who’s native language is not English (and it can be much more difficult than English).
Play for long enough eventually you get that expansion where the pack RNG really shafts you.
THIS!!! For me it was Kobolds & Catacombs. The guaranteed legendary in first 10 packs was in pack 10. Then I opened another 40 and legendary was in last f-ing pack...

Well I found for the last 2 expansions I have had a good Legendary Drop rate with the initial packs, it's all down to RNG. I was advised some time ago that the average Legendary drop rate is around 1 in 10 packs. If your low on Legendary then RNG will probably at some point be in your favour, if your high in Legendary then the RNG is likely to be against you. For example I have 2765 cards in total which on the 1 in 10packs average would have me with around 55 legendary. I actually have 134 and the last few packs I have got have been dearth of legendary. So maybe there is something in that 1 in 10 - who really knows?
Oh by the way SinAscendant I have 7930 gold and 14830 dust saved, they were a lot bigger but I spent 4000 gold and over 4000 dust a short while ago :) .
No, you are guaranteed one within the first 10 packs of a new kind and tu never open 40 the same kind without hitting one, but the general average is 1/20 packs.
There have been multiple bugs to the 40-pack rule, but it has always been compensated for.
there seems to be a decreased drop-rate for legendaries in the packs. I have not done the math,
With respect, the bare minimum effort required to make a substantive claim such as this would be to back it up by actually doing the “maths” first and then basing your findings upon that evidence.
A gut feeling that the drop rate has been lowered is nowhere near enough evidence to support that claim. I have anecdotally found I have started finding quite a lot more legendaries than usual lately - but That could easily be a feeling rather than a fact (and likely is).

Just bad luck... I opened 50 packs and got 4 legendaries, 12 epics. Which is pretty lucky.

I am very happy for you and the other players.

That has nothing to do with "sucking", it's just luck, nothing else. Keep cool
One person experience doesnt make something a reality
And this, my brother, is why I asked for evidence: here, I help you:
"Could somebody please second my sentiment with hard facts or tell me that I suck and need to git gud?"
Maybe, you should try tot learn English or learn to read. Thank you

yes, the odds have been shadow nerfed from 1 every 40 packs to 1 every 60 packs, yet no one talks bout it
Here you go man: You suck git gud
