There is literally a 2-card combo available to every sinle class that completely ruins the deck (and is pretty good against even/odd lists, too) and people complain about it being crazy strong.
Juat play ctrl warlock or renolock with this 2-card combo, mill, and anti-aggro removal tools, and destroy the ladder.
So true... Smashes lots of top decks... But, the people complaining in this thread all play Even Paladin, so they'd get screwed too, and you can't have that.

Come on, you won't draw that combo every game, and Reno lock is the only deck which can afford to run it, and it will make your deck worse in other matchups. Did it ever occur to you that running Finley in a DK deck is pretty damn awful?
There are other counters like albatross, Ticatus and bombs, but I find the deck oppressive anyway. Polkelt is simply broken, in a similar way juicy melon used to be in SA-druid. It singlehandedly removes all previous consistency issues.
Nerfing other cards is not effective imo, there are too many options both for burst and AOE. Bringing DK Anduin to 9 or 10 might help, but even that might not be enough.
#razadidnothingwrong. if you want to stop the oppression of that deck, change shadow reaper anduins hero power. someone like me who uses raza in odd priest appreciates 0 mana heal for 4 health on their hero power. dont punish the creative players because raza enables lazy combos based on shadow reapers broken shit hero power. change it to be usable twice in a turn instead of after every spell. thatll put a stop to it right quick
I think the best nerf would be to cap the amount of times shadowreaper's hero power can be used in a turn. Could be like, 3 times. It'd still be pretty strong, but not completely insane. Then, add a nerf to spawn of shadows -> it deals 2 damage, not 4. You'd have a good deck that wouldn't be as oppressive as it is now.
Of course if Blizzard actually cared about wild balancing they wouldn' t keep printing cards to support the one other inane wild archetype, big res priest, but that's another story.

I totally agree, i play raza in my priest too but with the quest hero power. I love its effect. The big problem is spawn of shadows. They can nerf that card to the ground. It makes the oppressive deck much weaker and the other raza versions would be untouched

It is fine if they print good big priest cards AND give us counters that are playable against other decks. But they don't... There are so many ways to make useful tech cards
Something like a 2 mana spell - summon 3 random 1 cost minions for your opponent, then deal 2 damage to all enemy minions would be useful both against big priest and go-wide aggro with a downside of occasionally giving opponent 3+ health 1drops or ones with a good deathrattle
Or something like 2 mana 2/3 battlecry add 3 random 1 cost minions in your and your opponent's deck - a good way to slow down combo and make big priest's strategy worse
The Polkelt nerf did almost nothing to Raza priest.
I completely agree it needs a nerf, even though the deck has a nice play style with a skill cap. Between the spell buffs, mass hysteria, palm reading, Polkelt and zephyrs, it is extremely hard to counter now.
The wild trinity of big priest and raza priest with secret mage destroying their counters is getting boring imo.
You forgot a bout dark glare warlock which is still really strong
i play since start of the game and my feeling when i meet the priest ? I want to concede even before the game starts just because i know it is one sided beatdown. ( in wild) Big priest or raza priest. no other priests decks are played in wild , i made my own deck to kill every big priest and my winrate against big priest is 99% they just have no chance and i want to say that i run control deck , not aggro. but when i see they dropped raza on board im hitting concede button only because it saves me next 30 minutes of "movie" in which i will die.
Wild would be more healthy if only WILD card will be allowed in it. seeing new evolve shaman without single wild card playing wild is the thing which makes it broken. libram paladin in wild is also broken and nobody cares about that. make the rule that not ALL cards are allowed but only the one that rotated out. so you wanna play librams in wild ? wait for it mate or play in standart.
and i still dont understand anyone who plays aggro in wild when u have like 3000 cards in there. and yes i hate demon hunter because it is "player hunter" ( class like normal hunter , predetermined to be only aggro) what the hell is he doing in wild ? DH have no wild cards, and seeing DH Ilgynoth in wild is what makes it broken.
just change it little bit and ban standart cards from wild.
In what world does it make sense to ban standard cards in wild? So if my favorite archetype finally gets some support in the next expansion am I supposed to, what, wait 2 years till I can run those new cards??

Sorry but libram paly n evolve shaman r not as OP as Reno Priest n Secret Mage, they're not even high Tier 3 decks. They're OK, thats it.
And the idea of banning standard cards from wild is, IMO, terrible. Cause, ok, mage wouldnt have "Rigged Fair Game" neither "Sayge", but the deck will be playable next year. All you're doing is delaying the inevitable.
If NERF hits that means more Big priest and Believe me or not raza IS more playable ... You got neutral hero Power switch + finley and their deck IS dead but against Big priest not every Class Has poly/Hex

True, but they're 2 cards among 30, the chances to draw them r slightly low. You're not gonna draw those 2 cards in all games against Reno Priest. Obv, warlock its the class that has more likelihood to draw them.
In some ways, it'd be nicer to see a nerf to Anduin than Raza. If Anduin only did 1 damage not 2, that puts a major damper on machine-gun Raza priest, but it leaves Raza intact for oddball stuff like Baku and Quest.
I don't know why they unnerfed raza in the first place, fun and interactive much?
Like I said in the wild sub-forum, whoever thought unnerf raza was a good idea is ********.
There was no telling how strong the deck would be, but with the extra support, it was clearly too much. I haven't counted, but aboit half the deck is changed compared to the original versions.
Personally, I thought the lack of card draw would keep the archetype in check. I was wrong, but I don't feel retarded.
No, Spawn of Shadows isn't the problem, there are many other ways the deck can finish you off.
Thank you, PrincessKenny!

No.
We have different opinions on what constitutes 'wild n' crazy.' I'd like a Wild filled with a wild variety of decks and there's just too many Razas.
Agreed to disagree :)
srry to say something unrelated, but I wish they would unnerf blade flurry and prep and HoF them, I've only ever wanted to play old oil rogue

There are many creative solutions.
I want patron warrior back
big

Try by nerfing spawn of shadows first. I would rather nerf Anduin to deal to minions only instead of nerfing raza again.
