I seriously lost faith in the hearthstone player base. I need Oh My Yogg to deal lethal damage so I purposely created a terrible deck where I buff my opponents and damage myself in hopes that the opponent won’t take the game so seriously...
But time and time again after buffing my opponent all game, not attacking anything, and hurting myself, I play my secret with 1-5 health left and over and over again they just take their biggest guy and slam me in the face.
Are people just desperate to win or what the hell is wrong with people. I expected a lot of players to do this but I’ve logged 46 games and only ONE PLAYER actually didn’t just go face. To be honest I’m disappointed at least ONE player hasn’t tried to BM me atleast... maybe they are scared I can win with a 1 mana secret and they are at full health?
Anyone else have a strategy for this? I tried putting it in odd paladin but I just end up climbing too close to legend.

I don't understand your disappointment. They just don't care and it's totally fine. I would definitely do the same. There is nothing wrong in playing the game normally and don't caring about achievements, especially about your opponent achievements. The fact that 45 of 46 players didn't try to BM you and just take their win actually speaking nice about the hearthstone player base.

English is not my native language, so, with a high probability, mistakes were made.
Maybe try Millhouse Manastorm once you have one HP and hope for moonfire? I'm assuming that the lethal damage can apply either to you or your opponent. You could also try casting the secret with Lorewalker Cho on board to help your opponent know. If your opponent is smart and wants the achievement, you could have "infinite" Yogg secrets (you both would need to have another spell in hand to avoid triggering Yog with Yog). I'm not sure if doing lethal damage based on your opponent's Yogg secret would count, but if it does, you could try Unseen Saboteur in combination with Lore Walker to cast your opponent's Yogg spell.
Cho is even worse. They see u play oh my yogg and they are just like oh no you dont.
But if the OP was making it obvious that he is going to let the opponent win I don't see you why it would be problematic. I suggested Cho more because it's useful for letting the opponent know than it is necessarily to try to get the opponent to allow you to lethal them. However, if the achievement is given to both players ( I don't know this), that would be an added incentive to cooperate
That is one of those achivements that you are not supposed to chase, it's more have an "Get rewarded for a memorable moment" Achivement.
This. The only way to "chase" this achievement is just to play to copies of Oh My Yogg in a standard Pure Paladin or any other Paladin deck you like, and hope that some lucky day, the impossible will happen. This achievement is similar to the Rogue one where you have to summon a 10-cost minion with Shadow Clone. You can do your best to set it up, but ultimately, you will have to get lucky.

You don't have to play bad cards to get lethal with it i think its just luck I play it in a pure heal paladin deck to try and disrupt things like skull and the 10 mana druid spell. I almost got lethal with it on a priest because they used the 1 mana heal on face and oh my yogg cast lighting bolt instead. I mean there a chance that druid will cast pyro blast on them self. There are loads of spells that they could cast to kill themselves its just going to take a while to do.
Someone did post on reddit a while ago how they achieved it. Obvoiusly it's a bit of a hassle (I'm certainly not going to go through it lol) But if you really want it done see below;
I also assumed this achievement was just supposed to be a "wow, I got that one?" sort of thing. Hard to set it up.
Also, I always imagined this one would be achieved by having your opponent accidentally lethal themselves with a spell from it. I think if you're ahead and they are scrapping together an answer, they'd be more likely to cast a spell to swing the game back and then it gets changed to something that can kill them. Could be card draw when they're in fatigue (not sure if that works) or a direct damage spell to their face?
Anyway, maybe doing it like that would be easier than trying to give the win to your opponent and then they don't play along.
Theres no strategy. Its just incredibly badly designed achievement...
Nobody is going to play spells when they have lethal on board.
Nobody is going to play spells if they are down to low HP and you will kill them next turn... they concede instead.
Nobody is going to play spells when they have lethal on board? So when you have 30+ damage on board, and I have no minions or cards and 1 HP, its INCOMPREHENSIBLE to play a spell? Thats the whole POINT. Does no one have fun anymore? You sound like a robot. People like you ARE the problem.

This. C'mon guys.
Why should I be suprised with these kinds of ignorant responses... Look at the player base. Where to start?
First, even IF you are correct, it doesn't address the argument or complaint. So I hope you don't plan on being a lawyer, although a politician would work great for you. Second, the quest rewards XP as well as all the other similar quest are not insanely difficult indicating its not the type of quest you believe it is. Third, you didnt address the argument or complaint, which in and of itself is worth like 100 reasons this reply is dumb.
For the record, I tried this out with Lorewalker Cho and got a Shaman to participate on my first game! We got my HP down to 1 followed by 4-5 tries before my Cho died, despite being buffed a lot with HP and a mostly full board. Almost died of fatigue.
Edit: apparently I just got really lucky. I've given opponents many opportunities to get this achievement and every time since the first game they've failed. Usually they just "wow" emote and go face... Or they cast a spell when I have 20 HP and the Yogg secret cast with Cho on board and they have 19 damage on board ...
I followed Lorewalker Cho strategy and with Zola for giving the opponent two spells. My deck is everything to speed draw. I played near 50 games and it is just impossible to do, I play until I'm at very low HP and I give the opponent 1 or 2 secrets, but most people doesn't care or does not understand what is happening and does not have brain to see they can get the achievement / free xp for playing a spell or the secret and killing me, so instead they always go face with minions to kill me. People is just dumb.
From 50 games just one, JUST ONE time the opponent played right with Lorewalker Cho, we managed to copy and play the secret about 8 times in total, with no luck for none of both, and finally I died due fatigue.
Now I'm following Pure Paladin strategy, that is having 2 copies of the secret (and alternatively Lorewalker Cho) and throw the secret when the opponent is at very low HP, I'm near 10 played games and I feel this strategy is even worse because every f*ckin time the opponent just concedes because he will think you are doing BM.
All this I tried it in wild ranked mode (diamond 5).
it's really maddening. This achievement exceeds the limits of the difficulty of the circumstances that must be given in order to complete it.
There are many RNG factors starting with if you can win / beat the opponent HP, if you have the secret in hand, if the opponent will concede or will cast a spell, and what random spell will be casted by the secret.
This is totally unfair to any achievement completionist.

You play a deck that makes it seem like you want to lose. Guess what you opponent will think?
If you want to trigger the secret, you need to keep the board in check and force the use of spells.

Actually, the Shadow Clone was rather simple. Prep and Vanish, into Arcane Giant + Silas Darkmoon + Shadowstep. But the Oh My Yogg! one seems absolutely impossible to do on purpose.
I sent you a PM. Check it. It might work.

This is the only achievement I still have to complete for this expansion, and it is by far the most difficult and circumstantial achievement. Even the Yogg achievement is a LOT easier because rather than RNG fiesta luck it just require to play specific cards with some complex moves ( https://www.hearthpwn.com/forums/hearthstone-general/general-discussion/246297-my-almost-complete-guide-to-the-achievements-that?comment=35 )
