My goal is to not tilt, this game makes me upset so easily it's crazy. I try to learn from every game and think about where I misplayed when I lose, even if the game was unwinnable.
I understand. Then, as it is with me, it comes down to the question: “Do you like the game, the ideas behind HS, the “Lore”, the mechanics, etc, enough to keep on devoting your time to gearing up into the queue (once in a while?) , heading into some cardslingin action?” Is HS in its core attractive enough?
It's OK but I could definitely do with more variations, like every month different wild cards are shuffled back in the standard set or some cards get buffed or nerfed depending on the staleness of the meta. Also, the problem with the legend rank is that the progress kind of ends there. Climbing the legend ranking is too slow and tedious and requires playing constantly.
Unless you are very good fab!
That could be your goal: Becoming a millimeter better than yesterday (there must be a couple of ways You know how you could improve) and thus climbing the legend ranking faster.
More variations: You have my blessing. I would also welcome that hugely.
(...) Yeah, there are some great cards in Wild and I'm still happy I got them in gold. I did pretty well ito dust when some of them were HoF'd but overall I got burned when they split the formats into Standard and Wild. So much dust on so many cards I can't use in the main format. Ugh.
Uh, but uhm, Wild is the main format, right??
I've been following competitive HS for a few years now I'm probably less interested in it now than I was before. I enjoyed the recent World's though but there was a time during Swiss or shortly after where I felt there was just too much GM content. Personally I don't really like the GM format. It feels too closed. Always the same players. The format stops unknown players from breaking into the big leagues and I don't think that's a good thing. I also think the format is kinda dull. The weeks where everyone had to bring decks from every class and we were treated to endless matches of jank Shaman decks was painful to watch, I don't think I lasted more than 20 minutes. Definitely not the way to showcase the game.
Only Username, was there a distinction between GM and “normal” competition? The latter meaning, where simply everybody can partake? It can’t be the case that only “GM’s” can become “World Champion”, right? That wouldn’t merit the very term...
Shouldn’t blizz make all this a lot clearer to everybody? It comes across as quite cloudy/ shrouded (?) .
Over the years I have spent a lot on this game. I'm too scared to go and check my Blizz account to see exactly how much I've actually spent but it's way more than $1,000. At least Blizzard were able to upgrade their EU servers with that money :D I don't think there's a right or wrong amount to spend on the game. Depends on your circumstances. If you can get by and enjoy the game while spending very little or even no money, great. Same for those who choose to spend more.
Hey! dear Username! Please Never be scared to leave :) ! The money you poured into HS has been 101% worth it (even it'd be 10.000 euri). At the time of purchase, I mean. In retrospect… yeah, not so much, but that’s not the way to look at it.
Are you piss-poor now? Living on the streets because of your HS-expenditure? Didn’t think so ;) .
just to make other ppl sad, rage and (my personal favourite) add and try to flame me as there is nothing better than feeling the salt on the air. There 0 other reason to play this game if you want fun go play sth else
Kaiser, isn’t that…. a bit on the shallow end of reasons to devote your time to, well, anything at all? (Or is there truly as much fun here to be had?)
Hey all good, no need to justify. :D These are just crazy numbers, you'll have to admit. ;) Let's hope for a bright future for Hearthstone, maybe we'll meet in ladder one day, who knows. :D
I admit, readily :) . Not justifying, merely “explaining”. Nah, I just love to hear my own voice I guess.. :0
Yes, I Do hope for a bright future of this majestic game. Do you remember the first time You came across HS? The first time you made a deck, scored a win?
Well, I do ^^ . "This - is - sheer - genius". Those were the words echoing in my skull. Of course, I wasn’t used to anything of the sort. Didn’t know Magic. What an awakening.
I have over 10k wins with Paladin. When secret pala was unbeatable, it was almost autowin every single time, for months. Same with Warrior, when pirate warrior was unbeatable.
Damn, 10K wins with 1 class, impressive Suskis! You must have relished the forming of Pure pally not too long ago (as well as Broom pally) then!
But uh……… how bout the other 8/9 classes? What are these numbers at :P ?
Well, it certainly changed during these years of playing. I'm not really sure what my goals are right now except to have fun.
My personal goal used to be to have all Druid, Shaman and Hunter cards golden, no matter how much play they see or not. I can't say I'm really working towards that right now though since it's borderline impossible, but in an ideal world(Hearthstone-wise, of course), that would definitely be nice.
The second one used to be to collect over 1k wins with every class I play(Druid, Hunter, Priest, Shaman, Warlock, Paladin), but it faded a long time ago being that a) I already have 1k wins with some classes but still play them more than those I should chase the portrait with; b) I actually prefer some avatars over the 1k ones, such as Sylvanas for Hunter and (in case I get to achieve that) Cenarion Druid - I love the special Gul'dan though and I don't think I'll ever change it; c) I used to play on two servers but now don't play on Asia even though I have over 2k wins with Druid there, so chasing him in Europe feels wrong, sort of.

Hit Legend for first time and understand optimal plays much better.
Those are my 2 goals.
My goal is to troll Legend players who play Tier 1 meta decks in casual wild. Its fun.

Do you derive some pleasure from simply playing the game Kaliosa? I sincerely hope you do!

1) Complete the battle pass track.
2) Hit legend.
Not doing so well on the second one, mostly because I don't play enough.
People voted, the stats have determined that people play video games for fun. More news at 10, Jim.
You can’t miss play when RnG takes the wheel

And here are my stats. I wish you all the best to the year 2021 and have fun with the deck :)
My goal is to just enjoy the game, accepting it is very RNG-heavy, limiting my play time, and trying not to take it seriously.
my personal goal in this trashgame is not to spend a single dollar ever again
fucking expensive bullshit
At this point I would be happy with winning two games in a row and not drawing terrible matchups every game.
I play control, I see nothing but warlocks so then I try warlocks and see nothing but aggro.
