It contains as detailed an explanation as I've seen or written regarding all the BS about the monetization system patent and all that stuff.
You magically appear when someone says anything about their business model... interesting... so you are telling us that matchmaking is random right??
not going to start this conversation again, people should just google activision matchmaking patent and you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to understand what it says.
No one has ever suggested matchmaking is random. That continues to be a straw man literally no one has ever embraced.
But, I'm not going to start the convo again either, since a very detailed and researched explanation of why the bullshit about "rigging" is not in any way evidenced by the patent is contained in the link above. If you'd read it, you wouldn't have to ask about the random crap, because again, no one claims the matchmaking to be random.
Also, as constantly repeated in countless other threads about this exact topic, it's impossible to prove a negative. I only know there is zero data or evidence to suggest "rigging" in the matchmaking beyond the common understanding of how MMR affects matchmaking. The video in the link above claims to have proven definitively (as usual) that Blizzard rigs matches to artificially bolster it's monetization. In actuality, he fails to understand what he's reading in the patent, just as most others do. You say you don't have to be a rocket scientist, and that is certainly true, but you DO have to have a much better grasp on vocabulary and syntax than most of those who hold the patent up as proof of anything.
I know most people don't want to break their own narrative, but if you want to learn something, just read post #4.
Finally, not sure what the "magically appear" comment was intended to imply, but I'm enjoying my last week before a new job starts, so yes, I'm on the forums a lot.

Enjoying Americans winning in the Olympics is forbidden because it is political. A 14 plus page discussion of state-sponsored lawsuits against a multi-national corporation based on harassment, discrimination, and wrongful death allegations is apparently not political enough to raise an issue.
a) make people buy decks as documented by blizzard themselves
d) keep win rates at 50 % ( again as documented by them) which results in a rigged system as players think they are playing against a random opponent but in reality they were matched by the algorithm with a sole purpose of defining who wins or loses
Matchmaking has been used in every multiplayer game for 20+ years dude, wtf are you talking about
M0res and a bunch of other folks buy into the argument put forward in the "interesting video" thread, namely that by reading the patent Activision holds on its monetizing procedures, one can show that Blizzard is engaged in all this manipulative stuff in matchmaking. Despite the fact that most of these theories would be trivially easy to prove if they were true, a lot of folks are willing to just say "it's true because I want it to be".
Among others, theories include that you are artificially matched with opponents who are using legendaries you don't own so that you will be enticed to buy/craft them. Also, apparently the legendaries are artificially made to be drawn at the "perfect" time to affect the game in a definitive way, thus making the legendaries more enticing. Some people have realized that the whole "keep win rates at 50%" is a natural consequence of MMR over time, but some people still insist that's a conspiracy in and of itself.
Of course, the thing about manipulating matches based on card collections would be so ridiculously easy to prove if true, one would assume at least one person would have actually done the work. But no.
The guy who made said "interesting video" is clueless. He couldn't even understand relevant words he was reading in the patent, so I never understand why he's held up as some authority. But, the video is full of holes that an educated 6 year old would catch, so it doesn't really contribute to much.

Oh man, but this happened to me like one time.
I made a janky, incomplete deck to try it out and was matched with a guy using basically the same deck but with all the good cards I don't own! It wasn't even a tier 1 deck, it was some weird homebrew deck.
1) is a good idea in that the XP given by matches feels quite unrewarding - it's all about quests. To be honest I'd rather they just up the XP per match. I mean, you say that doubling the winner's XP would make losing not feel like a waste of time, but surely it's even more upsetting than before knowing you've halved your XP on top of losing stars?
2) Yes, yes, yes. Also for casual duels. Duels is funnest at high wins when it's insane deck with crazy treasures vs insane deck with crazy treasures. A system that pulls everyone to a 50% winrate is completely counter to what makes the mode special. Since my MMR's leveled out I've stopped enjoying Duels even though I was in love with it for a while. Just implement the Arena matchmaking system, where you're matched against people with your same winrate. Queue times may get longer, but it'll make the mode actual fun.
3) People have pointed out why this is a bad idea. I do like the spirit, though. Maybe implement some sort of "rental" system, where you can use X amount of gold/dust to have access to the card for X amount of time, or a certain number of games? They can probably tweak the numbers to where it's unappealing to rent the card over and over, but worth it if you're just doing some testing. People on here would probably get mad and call it a scam to get rid of people's dust though...

It has to be true!
The funniest part about that particular theory is that the meta has NEVER been better suited to prove this if it were true.
All you'd need to do is take an account that doesn't own the legendaries Kayn, Malicia, and Il'gynoth, OR the legendaries Alura, Liadrin, and Yrel, or both to be thorough, play a hundred games or so around D10-D5 ladder, craft the missing legendaries, and play another hundred games.
Compare the instances of Soul Demon Hunter and Pure Paladin matches between the two sets of games. If the above theory is true, there will be a HUGELY statistically significant difference. In the past, when people are talking about just general rigging between different deck matchups, you'd need thousands of games to make a good proof. But something this direct regarding specific cards wouldn't require that many games to be . . . I don't know, 90-95% confident that there was manipulation of the matchmaking occurring.
I'll hold my breath while the people who are so certain of the truth of such things actually demonstrate it.

I mean there's literally a totally logical explanation for it.
You are crafting a popular meta deck, but don't have specific legendaries for it. You face said popular meta deck on ladder, because it's popular. That person has the legendaries you're missing, because they're common in that deck.
We can make a new class , a combination of hunter and demon hunter... In order to defeat the hunter and dh class. Class identity should be secrets outcast draw heal clear and rush and charge as well.
