problem now is that people see that bitching about something makes a change, so they will start bitching about many things more now
How the hell is that a problem? Would you rather everyone stay quiet and let the ship sink? You have those bitching ppl to thank for these changes, Blizz would never have done it otherwise.

the changes are good, i like it, but this means that from now on people will bitch about more things then usual, because they will know that things will change... even the slightest things will be publicly bitched about.. like for example the haircolor of the guy on the card of crowd favorite...

They won’t shut up about it. The people that are complaining about the reward system are the ones that complain about EVERYTHING. Metas, pre purchase bonuses, pack rng, whatever.
It’s a tale as old as time. They’ll complain again, and yet will keep playing for another 6 years, complaining all along the way.

Sooo it took what? Half an hour and everyone is back on bickering on each other? Does anyone know the record of peace held inside a "good news, everyone"-threat?
Did people really not see this coming? They were obviously going to be re-tuning the system. People were losing their minds over a temporary inconvenience.
The fact that there was community backlash is good because Blizzard was obviously testing waters how far they can push it and luckily it did not work for them. Hopefully this will be a lesson for them and lead to better Heartstone in the future.

Its not about whether they were going to do it or not, its about HOW MUCH they'd be willing to give away. W/o the complaints they'd probably have given us about a quarter of what we've got.
The reason this game has become so expensive over the years is because the community just went along with it, no one bathed an eye until now, so ofc they took advantage. Never again.

I said the same long before this system was ever formalized. Blizzard was always going to tweak things, depending on how many people signed up for the pass, where people are on reward track, and what the feedback of the community was like.
Ironically, in the discussion of all the positive changes Blizzard made, no one seems to have noticed that they are apparently not going to be doing special XP events (as they had originally planned). I don't have a problem with that, as I was satisfied with the system as is. But it does suggest to all the "Power to the People" rabble rousers that you really didn't change as much as you think you did.
I mean it’s good and everything but still doesn’t change the fundamental cost of this game in any meaningful way. Needing to spend about £1000 a year on one game for a full collection is ludicrous!
The meta might even be somewhat more experimental if everyone had access to all the cards.
I am not moaning at the changes, they are good, it’s definitely a step in the right direction. Now we need them to be a bit fairer with the overall cost of this game.
And the bitching will lead to more good changes which will lead to even more bitching which will finally lead to Utopia and mankind colonizing the Galaxy!

Finally some good news .
Watch some of yall, still going to be complaining. The new system might not be perfect, but this is a big step in the right direction.
Cool. Now everyone can shut up about it.
Yay!
Hope so. And then:

This is nothing but good news for everyone! Whoop!

Glad they responed to this issue.
Can we please have a positive forum now?

Well, that is a lot of added value. I suspect they'll make events worse than what they planned to compensate but er will never know what was planned.
You sound like you were fighting for your life. It must have been rough out there in the trenches.
