Ok so we have a really big ploblem with this meta right now, i still enjoy playing but it really makes the game unplayable the amount of aggro we have, 2 of the 3 tops decks are extremelly aggro, both DH basically. When i play against a non aggro(1 out of 5) its interesesting to play cause the game doesnt ends in 3 turns when they destroy you and having to play an ultradefendind deck you dont like just to have an option is the antifun.
The last exp we had early and nice nerfs so i dont know what are they waiting for nerfing nearly 5-6 DH cards.
Im the only one facing so much aggro? Im in low leyend
And the class is not broken just because of one single card you should nerf.
The entire class is fucking powerfull. A DH Deck is full of 5 Star cards. Value, Damage, Heal, Carddraw, Removal, always mana efficient cause of 1 Mana Hero Power, there are so many things we should talk about when someone asks: „What makes DH so strong?“ answer: EVERYTHING
For me, HS is simply less fun to play since DH arrives. It always feels like your fighting a Boss with broken cards and mechanics. you need rly rly good cardraw and luck to beat these cards.
Hunter is also super strong...but in a different way, it’s just a normal super strong aggro deck right now, ok i can deal with it, there should always be a cheap strong aggro deck to keep the balance and give f2p gamer a (good) chance to climb
The worst thing for me is that the meta is very non-diverse. We have two DH decks, HL Hunter, Evolve Shaman, Pure Paladin, Control Warrior... and what? Yeah, some Rogue, Mage and Priest pop out every now and then and Warlock and Druid are unplayable. This meta is basically go aggro or stop aggro. Some classes like Mage, Warlock and Druid can do neither and fall off. Not to mention Demon Hunter is ~50% of the meta.
And, to the more intellectually astute such as the OP, I would agree. DH has always been a problem and has never had an iteration that was in any way balanced to either play or play against. It is long past time for the whole class to be scrapped and replaced with something better. Like Deafknights... ahem. :-)
having 5-6 t1- and no t0-decks is an relatively diverse metta to be honest... There are always loosers in a meta looking at shaman before the galakrond expansion for example.
Also, it is always aggro vs anti-aggro. What do you expect? (honest question)
The part about DH is, it is a cheap and fast deck with little decision making. Those always get tracktion pretty easily (e.g. face hunter). You also see many DH decks bc the best deck right now against aggro DH is the lifegain DH, since it can heal and pick of minions easily.
I was getting a little fucked off facing DH four out of five matches (not an exaggeration), so I started playing Spell Druid to counter them. Now I barely see them at all. I know it sounds a bit tinfoil hat but it's true nonetheless.
Warlock has good draw but limited buff and direct damage.
Hunter has good direct damage but shitty draw
DH has insane draw and non interactive damage.
There doesn't seem to be any particular weaknesses, that compensate for his strengths. At least not for the aggressive style, which is the far superior one. As stated it's not single cards, nor the hero power in itself. It's the extreme amount of both draw, damage and mana efficiency. Aside from that. Having so much attack makes him non interactive, which makes him the dullest aggro class to play against. A real shot in the foot this one....

How to win against different aggro decks:
Druid: Play big taunts
Secret Mage: Healing/armor gain
Hunter: Healing/armor gain
Paladin: Clear the board
Shaman: Clear the board
Warlock: Clear the board
Warrior: Weapon destruction, and all of the above
Demon Hunter: Get really lucky/opponent draws terribly
