I actually thought that as of right now, you got the same amount of xp for wins and losses. Don't know for sure, but if that's not true, then a bunch of folks have been whining out their ass. It has been claimed many times.
The numbers I've seen people post suggest that you earn more from a win than a loss. That certainly corresponds with my own experience, but I've not tracked it too closely. If that's not the case, then I certainly agree that should change. People still shouldn't get gold for wins, but more XP makes sense.

Yup, I totally work for Blizzard. My whole job is to mock the deranged nutjobs on this site. By the way, I should tell you that the Amazon delivery guy, the postman, and that guy down the block who doesn't pick up after his dog are also on the payroll. They're all watching you, day and night, trying to figure out how to squeeze the last dollar out of you.
And, confession being good for the soul, I also work for the CIA, the FBI, the Illuminati, and the Freemasons. I live in Roswell, where my job is to keep our alien overlords happy.
For God's sake, if you can't even type "us" without screwing it up, why on earth should anyone take you seriously?
These numbers are not to be trusted at the beginning of an expansion people play more and then they stop playing
As I specifically said, the numbers (which, again, came from a non-Blizzard source) assume that you continue to play at the current rate. It would be insane for them to try to estimate how much of a dropoff there would be. It's a tool, after all. But it does tell you roughly what you're on track to earn. If (as I also said) the numbers are right. But anything is better than "Blizzard greedy. Screws little guy. Boo-hoo."
Wow, if that is really true and you get extra xp for a win, so many people have been lying in the complaint threads. I must find this out for myself.

Helpful Clarification on Forbidden Topics for Hearthstone Forums:
Enjoying Americans winning in the Olympics is forbidden because it is political. A 14 plus page discussion of state-sponsored lawsuits against a multi-national corporation based on harassment, discrimination, and wrongful death allegations is apparently not political enough to raise an issue.
They need to fix how xp is shown in the game ASAP. You only see xp gained when completing quests, unless you install a 3rd party program. Showing the 10 gold after 3 wins was very satisfying, the equivalent with xp is non-existent.
Do they take into account XP from the achievements? someone, who got to 31th level while doing most achievements, and someone, who got to 31th level doing few achievements, have very different XP per day.
you're likely to earn more gold now than under the previous system
That's wrong for anyone playing little and min/maxing quests only, and very wrong for those that farmed gold. I expect to earn 5k less gold than before on expansion cycle.
Dont forget that he count all the gold you get from reward track. That means, if you were like me, reach lv 31 now and estimated to get 10k gold at the end.. doesn't mean I will have 10k spare at that expansion.
Bacause I already used about 1500gold from level 1-30, then I will only left with 8500gold in the end of the reward cycle.
*Keep this in mind just in case you end up with gold lower than the estimated in the future..
Also, I should say this. Even though the estimated progression and gold seems promising, the lack of another sources of gold besides reward track is annoying. They should add other source to get gold, especially because some of the quests actually need gold, like the win 4 arena match quest (assuming you used your re-roll already).

It doesn't matter, how much gold you spend between the expansions, you'll earn roughly 10k gold. That's the point.
You can reroll a Quest every day, nobody is forced to play a mode he doesn't want, like or can't afford.
Do they take into account XP from the achievements? someone, who got to 31th level while doing most achievements, and someone, who got to 31th level doing few achievements, have very different XP per day.
That's a good point. My guess is that the chart does not take that into account (I don't know how it could). To be honest, I don't even know how much XP we earn for achievements: my guess is that the vast majority of our XP is earned via quests and playing the game. But if you kept track of how much XP you earned via achievements, you could recalculate your average XP/ week and then use the second column to figure out roughly where you'll end up.
Again, it's just a rough estimate: I personally found it helpful to see that I am on track to hit level 84. That'll put me way ahead of my usual earnings.

So it sounds like you used to farm for gold. In your case, yes, you're probably going to earn less than you used to. But gold farmers are a definite minority in the game.
Sorry for back to back post, needed to add more point to the discussion.
If you don't have all the DmF cards yet, you should assume that you will use again some of the gold from the estimated total gold you will get.
For me, I assume I will open at least 25 more packs, so I will minus 2500gold.
And I assume that when the mid exp arrive, I will open 20 packs at least to get the cards. So it minus 2000gold again.
1500gold minus already because I used some of my gold from lv 1-30
So for myself, the gold I should estimated to collect in the start of next expansion is 10k - 2.5k -2k -1.5k = 4k.
It was 4k, it's about in par with what I usually got in start of expansion.. still positive..
True. On the flip side, the bonus XP events should push you to a higher level than is listed on the chart, so that "extra" gold will partially offset the additional packs you'll need to buy for the mini-expansion. (I'd also bet that we get some free packs when that expansion launches.)
I usually try to have about 5-6k gold on hand when a new expansion launches. If this chart is accurate, I should have no problem reaching that goal, even with the mini-expansion.
But I will say that the new system has caused me to NOT spend as much gold early on as I used to, because I'm not sure (even with this chart) exactly how much gold I'll earn during the expansion. I used to play arena when I got bored with ladder (which is often). I doubt I'll do that until I'm definitely sure I'll have enough gold for the next expansion. It's standard economics: people will spend less today if they're uncertain about their income tomorrow.
I don't think this has been posted, but this chart was uploaded to the reddit HS page a couple hours ago. It attempts to predict, based on where you are now on the XP track, where you'll end up and how much gold you'll earn. It does not include non-gold rewards (packs, skins, etc.), nor does it include the bonus XP events that Blizzard has already stated will occur. (Obviously, it assumes your current playing habits continue into the future, i.e. you're not going to play less in the future than you do now.)
I cannot vouch for its accuracy, but I'd be shocked if it were way off. At least it's a starting point that might calm down some of the crazy rhetoric that's been drowning this forum for weeks now. Speaking personally, I'm at level 31 right now, so I should expect to earn at least 10K gold before the next expansion. Can't complain about that, as it's more than I used to earn.
lol I already estimated my gold earning I was earning 9500 gold per expansion now I can only earn 7k gold. if it would be fixed to the 4500 exp I would earn like 1k more than previous but it seems it is only fixed after you reach 50 level 5550 gold till 50 than you get 450 gold per week previously I was getting 525 gold
I am at level 38 currently which means I have accumulated 100'600 XP so far. However a big chunk of this XP (approx. 20'000) has come from getting the various achievements done (I spent a bit of time playing stupid meme decks just to get them done, such as dropping a bunch of 1-health tokens and playing Minefield on my own minions...), including a 12-win Duel run, which is worth 11'500 XP alone. As these are one-time XP gains they should not be part of the calculations for the projected XP per week over the next 3 months. So rather than 32'000 XP per week (that will bring me to level 132 at the end of the season) I am more likely to earn 25'000-26'000 XP per week going forwards, which means I will actually end up approx. 25 levels lower (around 105-110)
The conclusion is: if you've already collected most of the XP available through various achievements then the above chart overestimates the amount of gold you are going to earn over the whole expansion. On the other hand, if you haven't collected any of this XP yet, but you fully intend to go for it at some point, then it probably underestimates it by 4-5 levels
Good point but there will also be some additional xp through events etc that may balance that out as well. I'm interested in how they treat the mid expansion update. If they have a week with a special brawl, special quests etc and even add some achievements in, then this could potentially be a nice little earner of xp.
I'm approaching this very much as I'm willing to play it out over the course of this expansion, see the season out and then draw some more solid conclusions.
If I get to the end and I have loads less gold, it's felt bad to do etc then I may well reduce my play time or stop playing. However, over the last couple of years this game has gotten significantly more engaging though in my opinion and I've got enough confidence in it that I think I'll be satisfied at the end of the season. If I'm wrong then I'm wrong but instead of freaking out now, I'll see it out and then consider how it may feel going forward, having had the benefit of actually playing through season 1 and having the ability to reflect and therefore more accurately project how it might feel in future seasons.
Ultimately, I'm having fun. Duels is great, I don't feel there is one or two decks absolutely dominating ladder, there's plenty of really fun decks and cards and I'm looking forward to mid expansion update. If I come out of it with a hit less gold, I'm personally not tok fussed. I enjoy the game more and am more engaged with it than I have been at previous times and that's what I personally find important - that I enjoy my time in the game.

Tickatus isn't fun or interactive
It does show your XP bar when you level.
