It caps at 4500 soon, I don't recall when, 35 or 40 maybe?
Don't sweat it. Play for an hour a day and complete all your quests and you shouldn't have any problem being at least level 80 within the 4 months. Which would net you around 10 000g

soon? it start at level 51 it gonna take me atlast 1½ morth til it hit that lol
Everyone is up to about level 25-30 now. Welcome to the grind!
I've been used to 4-5 arena runs per week. I have 200 gold right now, and I'll do a run with it. If I don't get to 7 wins, I won't get to do another until I complete 5 daily quests.
so Blizzard expects the average player to hit level 50 during an expansion period. That means 196,200 exp in roughly 4 months. OP is now level 33 what is 78,650. So he/she got 40% of "expected" EXP in not even 3 Weeks. Assuming an expansion period ist 12 Weeks, that is 25% of time. I don't see that big of a problem.
I don't want to defend the new system. I also think you should get more EXP or they should shorten the gaps between levels so you get more often reward rather than waiting 3 days for your new level, but overall i think we're all on track. Remember old system did'nt reward losing or other modes such as BGs or Duels

I agree but it sure feels bad. Also I would say I have to be "above average" in terms of time and money placed into this game.
I think if they maybe increased the levels, say put the cap at 100, doubled the frequency of rewards but reduced the amount each level offered then you would get that more steady progression feeling.
I'm personally enjoying it but then I don't spend gold on a regular basis. I just keep it, dump whatever I have on release day of a new expansion and then return to saving it. I ultimately know that in 4 months I'll have a decent amount to buy packs with. Whether that's a bit Iver or under what I used to get, I'm not all that bothered.
I understand why it isn't as appealing to people who regularly use their gold to buy packs over the course of an expansion, or arena tickets even, so more frequent gold rewards would go some way to helping those people out.
until 50 level it gives total of 5500 gold right. each expansion with moderate amount of play I was able to collect around 8500 9000 gold. divide it to the 4 month it is 75 gold per day.
I don't grind for 10 gold for 3 wins.
what important is how much gold I can collect after hitting the 50 level because until 50 level it is better than previous system. but after hitting 50 level quests will give 450 gold each week.
I think I will just make calculation based on how much time it took for me to hit to 50 level.
I'd also be interested to know how many of the people who dislike the system are completely free to play and if so, do you think it should be easy for a free player to experience the full game, card collection etc? Do you think that is reasonable? And if so, why?
Not wanting to have a go here but I am interested in knowing where everyone sits in terms of what they put in. I'm almost level 35, I did buy the pass so have had the benefit of the xp boost which may be what is helping.

F2p should be doable for people who are willing to grind.
Those are the people who are most likely to bring even more people to the game and also the people who are the reason that we have reasonable queue times despite splitting the playerbase to 8 different modes compared to the three it started with.

I didn't say they shouldn't. In fact, I didn't express an opinion at all and yet you seem to have gone on a defensive of some sort. I literally asked some questions, none of which you've answered other than saying the game should be 'doable'.
When completing a full set of weekly rewards won't even give me a full level, my enthusiasm will certainly pale towards the end of the season.
How many levels do you think this will be the case for? Considering you earn xp whilst also doing those rewards, I haven't done the maths so is it the last 10 levels etc?

You asked if free players should be able to have the full experience and why. I responded that they should and gave you the reasons i can think of off the top of my head.
I wasn't defensive about anything, nor did i intend to come off as aggressive.

I'm just interested in what grind or activity counts in other people's eyes. There's no right or wrong I would just like to see how/of it varies from person to person.
I was f2p for a good 8+ months when I first started playing and whilst I didn't have a full collection and wasn't able to craft decks on a whim, I never felt I was hard done by. I got free stuff on expansion launches etc and decided that I actually wanted to play a variety of cool decks and have a more complete set and seeing as I'd played for so long for free, I then personally felt it was fair enough to support the game financially.
Again, not saying this is 'right' but is just my personal take. Others seem to feel very differently and it would be good to see why etc.
I just hit level 33 and XP required for the next level is still going up 200xp every level? Wowza. How do these clowns sleep at night?

Ugh, the grind.
No, I'm level 35 and for level 36 I need 5300 xp, so there is no cap
no cap, mate ... at least not yet. I am 42 and there is 6900 requirement... FeelsBadMan
There's a table with experience needed per level at the bottom of this article:
https://outof.cards/hearthstone/2200-the-rewards-track-how-long-to-get-to-level-50-644000-experience-required-to-get-to-level-150
It gets worse and worse until level (topping out at 9000 experience) 50 and then goes back to "just" 4500 per level.
