I thought that 6/6 would see a nerf when it was printed. Still do. Then again there are a ton of cards that seem way over curve to me these days. So maybe i just havent adapted to the new normal yet

For me, it's higher than I like for the game to actually be fun for me anymore. Alas, so it goes.
The class itself is problematic because the cards have all been designed with purpose. Compare DH to the classic/basic sets of every other class and you can see it, almost every single card is decent. This makes sense because the developers had a lot more experience behind them when they created the class but it is causing issues in the game.
If you look at the three decks the class has produced, the biggest offenders across the lists appear to be Skull of Gul'Dan and Twin Slice.

Also the 1 mana hero power that synergises with half of their cards means they rarely suffer from awkward turns.
