so I am testing new strategies out and played Deck of Chaos while having Lord Jaraxxus in Deck. Drew him couple rounds later and as suggested, it switched its costs from 9 to 3. So when playing him out you get set to 15 HP and get a weapon equipped aswell. In my case the weapon was (3/8). Isn't it supposed to be (9/8)?
So, you look at the fully upgraded Galakrond cards, and they simply say "equip a 5/2 weapon" rather than try to have power listed as if they were a minion. I think if Jaraxxus was printed today, it would simply say "set your life and max life to 15 and equip a 3/9 weapon." I don't think the power listed on the card was ever supposed to control the weapon attack rating, but they didn't know how to print a hero card's text back then.
Who knows?

Enjoying Americans winning in the Olympics is forbidden because it is political. A 14 plus page discussion of state-sponsored lawsuits against a multi-national corporation based on harassment, discrimination, and wrongful death allegations is apparently not political enough to raise an issue.
no, jaraxuss will always equip the 3/8 claws, even if you make it cost 1 mana 1/1 thanks to joybuzz, when you play it, you become a 15 health jaraxuss and equip the 3/8 claws if you summon it tru a card effect, like voidcaller, he enters as a 9/15 minion without turning it into the hero
That's a good point, unlike other heroes Jaraxxus can be brought into play as a minion. So I guess that's the only relevance of the attack rating change.

the weapon spawned by replacing your hero is a 3/8, if you cheese out the Jaraxxus sans battlecry it would be a 9/15
