Hearthstone is shit and has one of the most toxic communities on the planet.
Then why are you here???
He's kind of right. This is because the game is so expensive that most people aren't able to have fun building their own decks with interesting off meta cards. Blizzard is always too slow to fix problems, often butcher the actual "fix". It's worse now though, because blizzard intentionally prints overtuned cards and anti-fun (imo) mechanics that enrage many players (Tickatus, Mana Burn, Kayn Sunfury etc.
This game is a shitshow but we keep coming back because we are so heavily invested in the Hearthstone world and our collections, and the enticing highlights on YouTube draw us in every expansion. Our community is toxic because we have too many reasons to complain, every single major patch.
I mean, as with everything that attracts a vocal element of complaint, there is often a much larger element of whatever relevant population who is content, and therefore not motivated to come to forums and complain.
Given the ease of getting games at all hours of the day and night, the reported revenue in Activision's financial disclosures, and the game numbers I observe on HS Replay, it seems there is a very large group of players who are still loyal and willing customers. I imagine, in pure numbers, they utterly dwarf the entirety of Zeddy's audience and this forum's participants.

Helpful Clarification on Forbidden Topics for Hearthstone Forums:
Enjoying Americans winning in the Olympics is forbidden because it is political. A 14 plus page discussion of state-sponsored lawsuits against a multi-national corporation based on harassment, discrimination, and wrongful death allegations is apparently not political enough to raise an issue.
Huh?! How on earth can you conclude there is no possibility to complain? You are complaining right now and nobody is stopping you. In fact, the opposite is becoming true in some places, go over to the Hearthstone subreddit, literally all you can do is complain otherwise you get downvoted off the map.
Presumably because he, like most of us, enjoy ourselves playing the game.

You are another one. You guys are so easy to spot.
Yours are the assumptions and yours are the conclusions. I don't know your opinions because I don't read walls of text about a card game. Walls of text are cool related to important topics. Synthesis is also a gift.
This is exactly the problem: you can't be bothered to read his opinions, but you spew forth your own and expect people to take you seriously. You delight in being ignorant, and you criticize other people for actually expressing themselves clearly and precisely.

We can do these childish, asinine games all day.
Articulate an actual point instead of just listing assertions. You don't do conversation too well, do you?

What is important or not for someone is relative to each person, and that's a fact.
I'll tell you what is easy to spot: A troll who doesn't have English as a first language.
I don't have the heart to engage, knowing that most idioms will fly right over his head.

I have to sincerely apologize to those who got involved with this thread. Given how many people quote Zeddy as some sort of opinion leader, I thought he actually put thought into his content. I just watched his latest "Top 10 Cards I Cannot Wait to See Rotate to Wild!" video, and I have never seen a more incoherent lack of focus in a piece of media.
Everything is broken, everything is non-interactive. He argues bomb warrior is broken because it turned off Highlander cards, but Highlander cards are broken and should be gone too. Control is unplayable because of Galakrond (particularly the Priest Galakrond) which . . . I don't even know where to start. Convincing Infiltrator is on the list, despite control being unplayable.
Rotnest Drake, Puzzle Box of Yogg, Heistbaron Togwaggle are nowhere to be seen today, yet they have to rotate because they're broken. Apparently lackies (not the rogue Galakrond, just lackies in general) are infinite value generators, somehow. Dragonqueen Alex was apparently one of the most broken cards of all time before nerf, "but I know it's not all that great now".
And LACKIES are the worst design choice IN THE HISTORY OF THE GAME. That's a direct quote.
If the above seems like a rambling stream of consciousness, that's basically the video in a nutshell. I now understand what wasn't so obvious in the two videos I critiqued originally in this thread. Zeddy is a niche creator taking his cues directly from the salt thread, and mines views from people who complain without thinking thru what is being said in the least. Looking back at who was holding him up on these forums, I guess I should have realized this in the first place, but I get it now. No more time spent on this guy.

Saw it too hour or two ago. Dude, you said everything that was on my mind during that video. Zeddy contradicts himself on more than one occasion.
He dislikes resurrect mechanic in Priest class and says "how can some people play that?". IDK, perhaps we are all different with different tastes, different likes and dislikes? Some people like that, some don't. He was really going on about that (like many other things as well).
I know this isn't the topic, but you can still see his eagerness (if I wrote wrong note that English is my second language, too lazy to check how to spell properly) to shit on everything and everyone.

FTFY.
He's a typical canadian trying to overdose on equality and fairness while foregoing all logic and reason along the way
Much better. Thank you!

Tickatus isn't fun or interactive

The only cancer in Hearthstone is its community.

Too many points here, what clown expects people to read all of those points about a card game?
Sad act. Condense your points, if you expect people to bother reading them.

I know more retarded assholes in real life than Blizzard's entire playerbase. :P This community is not that bad, believe me.
