Enjoying Americans winning in the Olympics is forbidden because it is political. A 14 plus page discussion of state-sponsored lawsuits against a multi-national corporation based on harassment, discrimination, and wrongful death allegations is apparently not political enough to raise an issue.
Cancel culture is destroying one side of the argument. To take your op for example, to do anything with a person based on skill alone is now "racist/sexist". You must choose a person of color, or a woman (which is of course a racist and sexist thing to do). Any objection and you are "racist". You lose your credibility and your job. You can't even have the conversation. In this way you can shut down anyone for any reason using the race card, even if the conversation has absolutely nothing to do with race.
I mean, wouldn't you agree that one of the worst parts of claiming anything and everything is racist is that the word starts becoming meaningless? I knew I wanted to make the OP about the expense of Hearthstone video, but I debated about whether or not to even include the one about diversity in the tournaments because I know the word "racist" gets flung around everywhere. It seems to me Zeddy actually qualifies as one, but I agree that the word is almost powerless due to overuse.
Also, I feel like anyone who makes the accusation of racism is assumed to be speaking in the manner of "everything I don't like is racist" instead of "we really have a person who treats people differently based on ethnic origin" kind of racist. I'll admit, it probably isn't even worth making the accusation now. But, hopefully that's not literally true, yet.

Again, first time hearing about "Zeddy" but it sounds like they are trying to use the race card to get something from Blizzard. I actually stopped liking Blizzard when they banned some guy for saying "Free Hong Kong" or something and at that time they were like Hearthstone is not the platform for politics, THEN they jump on the BLM bandwagon. So, imo, Blizzard deserves whatever they get as far as race shinanigans.
LoL, despite what a few people have suggested in other threads, Blizzard is not paying for forum posts. But anyway, to each their own. I have 905 posts, and the OP here was the first time I've ever made that accusation because it's the first time I thought it was warranted.
Having said that, can't argue with the Hong Kong or the BLM stuff. Whenever anyone says they don't want politics in (insert anything), they inevitably mean, they don't want politics that they don't agree with. Or in corporate speak, they don't want politics that bring bad publicity.

Sorry I called you a Coward earlier that was not nice I just respect Zeddy and think he means well. My apologies Shadowrisen you won our match earlier fair and square good luck on your interview.
All good Shaman. Agree to disagree. If I ever get further into Wild, I'll look you up.

I just found the time to properly watch "Why Hearthstone is GETTING EVEN MORE expensive! |Darkmoon Faire | Hearthstone" and i am certain that Zeddy needs no reality check. He knows exactly what he is doing.
The entirety of the video csn be summed up as "i ran the numbers and they didn't fit my narrative, so I'm not gonna examine them at all".
He has gotten a tremendous amount of attention by his "greedy blizz" stance and he clearly intends to ride that wave as far as it can take him, while never being bothered by facts.
P.S. the only numbers he talks about are the full cost of obtaining all of standard cards with money. He never talks about the game's reward systems which, supposedly, was what the entire situation is about.
"NO time ever did I spend more than $220 before I had a full set" - is this supposed to be a good thing? You spend approx. $880 a year for this game? Its because of people like you they continously push out a subpar game, knowing full well they can continue to do so as stupid people continue to bite the hook.
Zeddy is trolling to try to get more viewers. The fact that he's going after other members of the community only serves to solidify it. When you go after and encourage people to go after Kibler, who literally didn't cast Worlds b/c of the Hong Kong issue, you've revealed yourself as a doofus.
He's going for a "man of the people" vibe, but he's really just a "man of the Zeddy."
For Blizzard bootlickers and those who still defend Hearthstone at its current state, take a look at this please:
Honestly, I'm not surprised at all...
That kind of stuff would be detected by HSreplay nearly instantly.
How do you know they are not? Have you seen a report by hs replay that shows matchmaking percentages by archetype?? I sure haven’t!
I haven’t researched the claims in the video but 1) it doesn’t surprise me as I had found something similar about HS matchmaking in the past and 2) it is obvious that matchmaking is as sophisticated as their “Zephry’s” card. It always gives them the perfect card to make more money
respect zeddy for speaking his mind, taking sides with the players , not content creators who get cash from blizz to be "positive" about changes
No, he just gets money by manipulating the gullible into believing he "sides with the players." It's one of the oldest tricks in the book: redirect/ build on/ exacerbate individual grievances as a way of a) getting rich; b) gaining political power; or c) both.
The fact that you're falling for it shows how well it's working. Some people will believe anything, as long as they're told "I'm fighting for you against the powerful." You won't believe a company, but you'll believe some random dude on the internet who you don't know from a hole in the wall. Great critical thinking there.
Terrence is a big one. Not sure if he still plays tho. EducatedCollins is also a person of colour, but mostly (entirely?) plays battlegrounds. Not sure of any others. Ant as well as Muzzy are amazing players, not sure of ethnicity, or if they’re playing anymore, but both were tournament mainstays for quite a while
I couldn't care less about Zeddy. He is insignificant person on YT, like all other Youtubers are. I couldn't care less about "racism" and "sexism" eighter, they are YOUR social problems (not mine) and there is no place for them in HS community.
However what connects all players, no matter if they come from Russia, China or USA is amount of gold we earn in the game. I don't like the route Blizzard is taking and they deserve all the backlash they currently get. If they don't respond to the wishes of players, we will burn game behind with low scores and leave it to the bootlickers who will continue to enjoy playing HS between 10 of them.
Online games are made for the players, not for companies who made them. The moment they betray players and lose playerbase....they are dead. It is players who dictate what and when, because without them, they can't do anything.
I personally don't respect enough my time, which is why i play still this game. However i also play few others beside this one and i don't feel "addicted" to the Hearthstone, as i once did. That is why i carefully follow every step made by Blizzard, because their decisions can tip the scales on one side or the other.

Have you made any personal calculations or do you blindly follow whatever narrative is served to you? Because you use terms like "bootlickers" but it looks to me like you're just a sheeple following the "greedy blizz" buzz without having your own thoughts or opinions.
