After killing it, it resurrected into an 8/8 EVEN THO, Turalyon, the Tenured sets its Attack and Health to 3/3 and based on Rattlegore's Deathrattle, its suppose to come back as a 2/2.
Honestly they really need to re-write his effect than. -1/-1 as a Deathrattle on a body implies its current stats. I don't get how things like this don't go through QA or maybe get questioned later down the line prior to release.
It could read "Deathrattle: Resummon this with -1/-1. (Resummons as 8/8)"
Yeah, resummon as a [stats] would probably be better way to phrase it in the game, but I think the way it's worded now is a little clearer in a vacuum when looking at the card.
If it actually worked like the way it is worded, it'd be such a dumb card, though.
The REALLY stupid thing with Rattlegore is when it is a 1/1 it comes back at full strength again. I lost an arena game once because I thought it would be gone after that.
I was playing Duels! and I encountered this situation which makes no sense.
I played Turalyon, the Tenured and attacked a Rattlegore that was a 9/9.

Now where am I missing something here?
My opponent played buffed 12/12 Rattlegore. After I killed it, it ressurected as 8/8.
So you can conclude de/buffs don't count on Rattlegore. You can track the mana cost of the minion instead to predict precisely
Otherwise a single Aldor Peacekeeper would deal with the card :D
Once again, common sense doesn't apply to Hearthstone.
I would also have thought that altering his stats would change what he summons.
Its not a bug, its a feature. :)
There are 9 different Rattlegores under the hood, when you kill the first one, the next will be always a 8/8.
Yeah, this one bugs me. From the text, debuffs and buffs should affect it. I wonder if it is the same for buffs gained in hand?

Oh no this card works the way it should instead of how I want it to work, it has to be a bug
