Not the most constructive way to start a conversation but I think you are right about evolve shaman being top tier. It will likely push all but the most agro minion based decks out of the meta. The question is: Will be more powerful than the other tier 1 decks and need a nerf? I'm not sure whether it will just be super frustrating or if it will actually be completely overpowered.
That's a fair comment. I'm probably just frustrated by getting rolled on turn 4 to 5 by the shenanigans; but, damn, I thought we would have some different and new experiences this time around. I've never really complained about anything Blizzard has done because I've been a supporter for years...but, seriously, I cant believe they brought back Evolve Shaman. Feelsthesameman.
The old god cards are really cool but only playable in uncool decks. Yogg is definitely the coolest thing that came out of the expansion in my opinion. It's just rng but it is fun and new rng. C'thun is cool but could have been so much cooler if it was a 30/30 and the condition was less slow and more fun. I agree the the meta is disappointing but I think I will actually enjoy all the neutral legendaries. Biggest disappointment is probably the direction they took demon hunter. It should have been big demons and dormant minions.

I've died on turn 10 to a rogue playing Cthun - that doesn't seem too slow to me.

I guess rogue can bounce Lorekeeper Polkelt and that's probably how you lost. I think makings the condition more accessible to other classes and quicker for them but slower for rogue would be better. I stand by my opinion that the 4 cards could be more interesting.

They could be, but honestly they're fine. C'thun is a back up win condition for long grind-y games. The pieces themselves are reasonable five drops for pretty much any midrange or control deck.
Also... I *hate* Evolve Shaman. The explosive power it has to drop a 10 drop alongside another fully formed board on turn 5 is so dumb.

Is C'thun rogue even a thing? Every time I see that animation, I think "easy game". The archetype needs too much draw to have enough control tools, and there should have been more tutor cards for the body parts.

I've seen some REALLY bad variants of C'thun rogue, but I think the archetype has potential, but it's going to have to be a mid-range C'thun Rogue. Sort of like Galakrond rogue.
Rather than like... the miracle-style C'thun rogue I'm seeing a lot.
I think honestly, C'thun should be run in rogue just for the control pieces. Rogue loves having Heart of C'thun; and then Body of C'thun is just really solid. Maw and Eye are just decent cards.
And then if it's a really heavy control deck you're up against, you just blow em up with C'thun.
Holy shit I cant believe we're back here already. Nothing new under the sun. Corsair, Hare and then Revolve or swing Evolve weapon.
People in this forum just love to complain. Look at how many threads about *wtf shaman is unviable* were started the weeks before
I mean these aren't the same people complaining. And Evolve and Totem Shaman are both VERY snow-bally decks that any class without hard AoE removal (so... anything that's not Warlock, Priest, Warrior, Shaman or maybe Demon Hunter) is going to really struggle if they get ahead. And people wanna try out a lot of the new control tools they've handed out this expansion.
So maybe wanting shaman to be better doesn't necessarily mean... "please Blizzard give shaman a super powerful snowbally deck that certain classes are really going to struggle against."

I know, salt thread...my bad.
