Funny though how people play the most boring aggro decks ( face hunter / demon hunter) just for the sake of winning more games.
I wonder how many would play face hunter if the average win rate wasn’t 59%. Simply, the deck ain’t fun!
That is not the reason. The game is becoming more and more expensive, lots of people fucking gave up and are just playing whatever is the cheapest deck until the meta settles, so that they can THEN finally craft the things that will work.
Face hunter is overplayed because the deck is cheap and the game is too expensive. Some of these Demon Hunter cards like Twin Slice are going to rotate out in 4 months.
Isn't Demon Hunter Initiate set like a replacement for the fact that DH has no cards in the Classic set? I thought the plan was for the Initiate to work the same way - meaning that DH Initiate cards are always gonna be in standard forever.
Maybe considering the Initiate set has more cards for DH class than Classic set has for other classes, what might happen is that they Hall of Fame some of the Initiate cards to match the overall card pool across all classes...
Notice Guyopt wants to nerf all the old decks that people can still use without spending a ton.....shocking, blizzard usually nerfs those before the release of their new set. So I am sure they will get nerfed, because you can't let people win games without spending money.
Here we go again... let's let the expansion play out a couple weeks eh? Is that really too unreasonable? You'll all be fine.
It's the same damn decks as last expansion. Soul Fragment demon hunter and libram paladin aren't new problem decks.
And sorry for the double post, but the forum is bugging out on me so I can't really edit my existing one.
Just wait a bit.. If nothing changes take three weeks off, and quit
Excuse me? I shouldn't have to quit the game because we're discussing how they could nerf decks that were already top tier and got buffed with the new expansion. This is not new information.
They wont touch soul dh as it will kill the class completely after the initiate set rotates in April. The initiate set contains the REAL problematic cards; Twin Slice and Blade Dance. The class will be a LOT weaker once it loses these tools.
As for the Tickatus hate, I can understand why it is a frustrating card to play against, but it is the ONLY thing keeping a wave of Res Priests and OTK Shamans at bay. I would rather get 5 to 10 cards milled (The deck is also weak to Hunter and Soul DH) than play against Convincing Infiltrator and Khartut Defender x25......
To the OP: Making Marrowslicer 5 mana will break wild again. Quite ironic as the only deck you have posted on this site is the cancerous Odd DH in wild.
It is much too early to call for any kind of nerfs and I suggest everyone try to find the positives in the game instead of digging for excuses of why you are losing...
Buddy. That word doesn't mean what you think it means.
It's a metaphor.... don't be obtuse. I literally explained what I was talking about in the next damn sentence. The word doesn't just apply to sex. Jeez.

No. They're going to create a new Demon Hunter classic set.
The Initiate set rotates out in April and the new DH classic set will come after the rotation of the Year of the Phoenix (2022).
Celestalon on Twitter:
Demon Hunter Initiate will rotate after Year of the Phoenix. At that point, they'll have all the extra cards they got during Year of the Phoenix. And after THOSE rotate, we'll have a Classic set for them.

Lol..... "excuse me?" Relax. Like I said it has been less than three days since launch. Let's see where the proverbial chips fall after some meaningful length of time before you paint this expansion with a broad brush of doom/unfairness. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. I honestly don't care that much

I don't think it's unfair, They don't need to just make nerfs because a deck is unfair. I think two of the same decks from last expansion that were two of the best decks got better, and they should do something to nerf their power level because they were a problem before and they're still a problem now. And maybe you should calm down and not go to on to a public forum telling people what they should and shouldn't discuss and then be surprised that like... people don't like that? I mean you told me to quit the game. That's so dramatic.
If you actually look at the post I made, the suggestions I made are not remotely extreme and hit very high winrate cards that have consistently been an issue. Some of them since Ashes of Outland.

- I agree that the pay wall becomes huge and my intention was not to destroy the f2p or new players, i also agree that hunter and DH nerf will cause an issue for the players with limited resources, therefore you are absolutely right here.
- Blizzard should provide a solution for players with low resources / limited collection. this should not be a p2w game.
- I think there is one good thing in this direction that Blizzard did - the power level of legendary and epic cards is in decline on the last sets, we can see this in the card win% stats in hsreplay.net , so this thing is a good direction in terms of the p2w.
I don't wanna point any specific cards, but Face Hunter definitely needs to be tuned down, as he has too much burst in early turns. Hell, even 3 mana 2 AoE dmg feels too slow, because you have like 15 HP at the time!

I dunno about Libram Paladin so much, but Soul Fragment Demon Hunter definitely uses new legendary cards.
Nah, none of these cards are OP or overly bothersome. Been 12/12 clowns and ridiculously buffed totems all day for me. Still, not the biggest aggro Hunter fan...
as a clown druid player I can tell you if we face aggro then we lose before turn 6

Aggro is over-tuned even since last expac Needs adjustment so more rock paper scissors

My main is hunter and I have the most fun when I am playing face hunter. Furthermore I find control boring as it takes 30 min to finish a damn game
İt is called aggro it sure gonna have early game bursts. İf you hate aggro play midrange then ez
