We have all-golden packs and all-class packs... How much would you be willing to pay for an all-Legendaries pack, in gold or in cash money?
After opening a hundred or so packs of the new set, I'm just getting dust in most packs, but I'm still digging for a few select legendaries for decks. Crafting them is such an inefficient way of collecting. I'd love to be able to buy one or two packs guaranteed to include 5 legendaries from the set. I'd probably buy them for a few older sets that I'm still missing stuff from as well. Especially if there were a (slim?) chance that one of them might be golden.
I figure they would need to be costed high enough that there's still an incentive to use the dust crafting system, otherwise it would crash the dust economy. On the other hand, it should be low enough to encourage players to buy them just to finish out collections, for legendaries that they might otherwise never bother crafting. It should be cheaper than 200 regular packs (20,000 gold), because the pity timer guarantees 5 legendaries in 200 packs anyway. At around the cost of 100 packs, which would average 5 legendaries plus a pile of epics and rares, you'd be mathematically better of buying the regular packs, but some players would probably prefer the certainty of the all-legendary pack.
So I'm thinking somewhere around 12,000 gold...? Or whatever that's equivalent to in local currency?
At 12k gold people would never go after this pack in my opinion, it would takes months or even years to the average casual player to accumulate as much gold (especially with the new system) and during all this farming time they would get very few new cards and miss out on multiple expansions.
I guess it would be a cool option to have for the more dedicated players or the whales who need a last push to complete their collection, but 8k gold seems more appropriate to me. It wouldn't ruin the dust "economy" (hard to call it that when there is no trade between players) since so few people could afford this pack and/or really benefit from it anyway.
As for the real money I would say 80€ the cost of a premium expansion pre-order essentially, seems right for blizzard, I personally would charge 8€ for it in order to sleep at night but that's why I make 500€ a month and they make millions
