Just stop it, I can't bear to hear those "oh everything is fine, blizzard are perfect stop crying"
STFU you rich stupid brats, even if you play 10 hours a day and buy the pre-purchase every expansion you would still be missing half of the legendaries in each set.
I believe most thread/posts are about how greedy Actiblizz has become and gutted quality over content.
I mean mobile is bugged to help right now between journal and duels, yet Blizz has a $20 pass! Sweet does it fix all the bugs, or is everything perma Beta testing now?
Monitization of time is nothing new, Blizz is just working overtime on it now.
I don't know what point you are trying to make with Zeddy's video and Reddit upvotes. Zeddy's video offers nothing not being discussed in multiple threads here and Reddit's upvotes are not an authority on truth.
We all know that the new system is ALOT worse than before but circlejerking 24x7 won't do anything until Blizzard responds to our current claims and how they plan to fix the system. If you want to hate circlejerk you can always join Reddit.
If you are F2P, why will you insist on owning every legendary in a new expansion.
If you are P2W, how is this game expensive compared to mobile gacha games. People throw thousands at gacha just to get a particular top tier hero, whereas a mega bundle cost less than a hundred once per quarter.
Lastly, if you notice, even top tier decks use less than 10 cards from a new expansion. In other words, if you have been playing for example hunter now, all you need is probably craft 5 cards or so and you can continue enjoying the new expansion. Why must you be greedy enough to insist on having a full collection to enjoy the game

Getting your moneys worth is not greedy. Why are you defending this shit?
Yeah this forum is strange. So many naive people defending a company like this. It doesn't make sense.
The silver lining is that reddit is a lot more vocal about the bad reward system and this site isn't relevant to the HS PR people so it matters more that the reddit is negative right now.

Seriously I am taking my ass to reddit, everyone here who is happy with blizzard's course of actions needs some serious help.
I just want to start of by saying I'm not defending Blizzard/Activision. We have established they are indeed keen on profit, as are all companies. It's also quite likely they'll fix whatever is broken, which is a fair point made by Solem. And they'll probably be able to still earn a lot of money if they change their model of earnings by just a bit.
As an objection to Solem's video, he uses his "4 Legendaries out of 120 packs" too much as a statement as to why the game is expensive. We all get unlucky in pack openings from time to time, other times we get really lucky. It happens. To use the amount of Legendaries you've pulled from one expansion pre-order, as the reason why a game is expensive, is faulty. He shouldn't have used it. I do agree on his statement about Legendaries costing far too much to craft; they should change the pity timer/drop rate, or decrease the dust amount to like 1200.
But I think there's a larger issue at stake here: Hearthstone's monopoly on digital card games. There is no standard except theirs. In any economic market, that means high prices. After all, if you hold a unique product, you get to decide its price. If you dissect the problem a bit further, Standard, Wild and Duels are the only modes costing a lot of money to play, provided you want to play all decks possible. If you look at Arena or Battlegrounds, it can be played for a lot less, which I still think is fair.
Going back to Standard, Wild and Duels, you can create 2 or 3 decks every expansion if you're F2P. I know this because I have a separate F2P-account. If you want to run a Highlander deck, I can play 2. If I run other decks, I can play 3. The challenge lies, now more than ever, in that the discrepancy between modes and decks you can play as a F2P account compared to a paying customer, becomes painfully larger. The addition of an extra class, the addition of a new mode that requires a good collection, and now the Tavern Pass. It all adds to the pile of things you need to pay for to enjoy properly, and that hurts.
Concluding, when rewards are concerned, Blizzard should make no difference between their players, F2P or paying. The Tavern Pass is a bad idea to reward players, and every player should have the same reward track. If they want to add extra cosmetics, it is only fair you have to pay for them. Going F2P is your own choice, but you can't be salty about not having access to all cosmetics. Where cards are concerned, I do agree with the price and dust economy getting a bit out of hand, in combination with the increase in power level of the last 3 expansions. Every class has good Legendaries now, and even the 4 Neutral Old Gods are almost necessary. I am hesitant calling them extremely greedy, but I do stand by my earlier statement that this is the market as it is right now. Common sense, that is all. Public outcry is good, especially in these cases, but make a stand with correct arguments. That goes for this forum as well; as a F2P player, don't start topics saying you are entitled to the same collection as paying customers. Explain what you want to see done differently, like dust economics or pricing as a whole.
As for the way they implemented the gathering of XP for the reward track, that's a mistake. And I'm sure Blizzard will realize this soon.

i hope so, but they hde the info to us until the pass launched, im affraid thet they wont move a finger to fix it
Comparing HS to a gacha game shows you how low the game has fallen. Lets see why the cost of the game is a problem for all players.
F2P players don't want to play the game because there are way cheaper options out there. The only leverage HS has over other card games is the bigger player base. However if F2P players leave, HS starts to lose that advantage because wether you like it or not, most of the playerbase in any F2P game is F2P.
But hey I am P2W, why should I care ? Well if you see another game is getting more popular and the playebase there starts getting bigger than in HS (This is already starting to happen BTW) the only reason to stay in the game is how fun the game is because for what you pay for one expansion here you could probably get the whole collection for those games, and how good is the gameplay compared to those games? This takes us to your last point
Have you seen how queues have been getting longer on high ranks in ladder? How very few of the popular streamers play ladder for the whole length of the expansion? Ladder gets very stale very quickly and its mostly because of this :
even top tier decks use less than 10 cards from a new expansion. In other words, if you have been playing for example hunter now, all you need is probably craft 5 cards or so and you can continue enjoying the new expansion.
People play one deck for the whole expansion because that's the most efficient AND cheapest way to play the game. No one even tries to play different decks because not only you are going to lose more, its more expensive, so why bother?
So unless you don't care if the game you have spent hundreds of dollars in dies, yes this affects everyone.

They are so clever in having managed to build up such strong support whilst making $$ from their so called “mistakes” I’ll give blizzard that!
Just buy cyberpunk 2077 whatever...and other big ps games combined..they are less costlier than one hearthstone expansion.
Getting your moneys worth is not greedy. Why are you defending this shit?
Because I never understand why people must insist on owning a full collection.
You can't enjoy the game with just one or two top tier decks? More than enough to get legend with it for those who play rank.
For those who play battleground, you don't even need any cards. Same as arena, your collection does not matter.
dude, what forum are you looking at?, i dont know what did you smoke but you better get rid of it, its dangerous

Not really siding with Blizzard, just that it doesn't matter to me whether it is the new or old system.
All these years, I usually pilot just one or two decks to legend or at least rank 5 each expansion.
When I get bored of ranked, I play arena or battlegrounds which are entirely nothing to do with your collection.
I don't see how the new system will affect me.
