I (think?) the new track rewards casual players like me more than the old track.
Oh, it absolutely does.
All of the maths to "prove" that the new system is worse has to start from a position of assuming a very regular amount of play (at least, doing every daily and every weekly quest without fail).
Given that the reward progression is rather front-loaded, it is quite obvious that if you don't play constantly for the entire four-month expansion period, you'll get more from the new system than the old one.
You guys are absolutely wrong, in the 1st levels yes, it looks good, you get like 1600 Gold in no Time.
But what do you do as a F2P Player once you reached a higher level, and ran out of Gold????? Now you can play like 500 BG´s and Standard Duels, for the next Level, to get 1 Arena Entry......... Thats just Bullshit
Dont spam false Informations all over. Everyone loses Gold in the End, and lots of F2P will end up not even having the Gold for an Arena Run or Duel soon.
you absolutely right, I forgot about the daily quests :) But still, to complete all these combined with the weekly quests on a regular basis you will spend as much time doing the quests themselves, you don't complete them in 15min. My reaction to that post was because he made it sound like, you log in do your quests real quick and you're done. this is simply not the case and I wanted to put that in perspective. For example: Get 3 wins with a certain class for 1000XP with a 50% win rate you will, and an average game time of 10min you be working on this quest 60minutes. If you don't log in for 3 days, you might get lucky if you can combine a quest or two.
Besides that, you are not having fun with the games you actually want to play. For some weekly's you will have to dive into arena or battlegrounds if your unlucky with rerolling them. For me personally, I didn't get the game just to complete the quests and then log out so I can simply achieve getting level 50!

Emm when will I actually get access to all this gold I'm collecting? I mean, the exp. is out now, I'd really like the couple of hundred extra gold I already got in there.
You need to click on the rewards when you have the reward track open. That will claim them fro you. :)

That aside, adding more cards doesnt change the game significantly for F2Pers. You're still getting the same amount or more than you previously were, and can still build the same number of decks. Having more cards available in total doesn't change that.
I mean it kinda does. Adding 33% more cards a year, means there's more to collect, and sure if you want to just be competitive, you can just build one budget deck and compete, but if you wanna experience the full breadth of the game, you have to spend more money. Maybe that's unfair of me to say, but it feels really bad to go from having a significant portion of the collection to having barely half of it while spending even more money.

Yes, this is entirely correct. It is pretty obvious with all these small changes that they are moving the scepter from expensive to even more expensive. It's simple really if we want Blizzard to notice us small people who just want to play our beloved game without spending 100's we got to do something... That something is to completely stop supporting Blizzard until they do something about the greed and make the game actually playable by making the content easier to unlock.
