Last expansion i predicted that shaman is going to be shit.
And i was right! These cards byfar are either mediocre or bad.
To make shaman work, you have to have card draw!
END OF STORY, its nothing more or nothing less, you can say, that use neutral draws.
Here is the problem, most of neutral draws are just painfully bad and take deck slots, the quest draw is what shaman needs, the problem is, the damn card stops working when you dont have a active quest.
DH gets weapon and damage synergy byfar.
warlock gets mana shift and sabotage your opponent.
Mage gets even more draw.
druid gets more cards that support eachother
and paladin gets useful cards.
what does shaman get? a setup swipe, do nothing totem and a murloc that gives you random legendaries if your murloc dies and a spell that has good stats(IF YOU ATTACKED. WHICH BTW, SHAMAN DOESNT USE ALLOT OF WEAPONS)
Honestly I'm at a point where I'm praying that they nerf Raza in Wild, so that I can play more Shaman there. Because Standard Shaman not only looks bad but also very boring.
Let's see if the 6 remaining cards change anything.
No. Shaman has been bad for the last four sets, and the first cards we see for it this time around are a flavour nightmare with weapon synergy, a legendary 0/4 to support a deck type nobody is playing, a murloc (lmfao) and the token bad class's token good boardclear. Unless the other legendary is on par with Galakrond or Shudderwock, i.e, one of the most powerful legendaries in the history of the game, shaman will still be bad.
Simply put, yes, it's too early. By this time tomorrow, we will know what the remaining cards will be. It's probably best to save your energy and wait to cast your judgement until all of the cards have been announced.
No, and I want to be wrong too but I don’t have any hopes with Shaman anymore. The common cards and the second legendary have to be THE nuts (talking about totem golem/ 4 mana 7/7 power here) to compensate the lack of epics and legendaries we are receiving this expansion. It’s so sad.
Things could certainly change tomorrow, but after seeing the dogshite epic murloc reveal and that weird attack-to-trigger epic today this feels like a 'hope for the best, prepare for the worst' scenario.
The shaman epics revealed today have been egregiously out of scope for what the community was desperately hoping for and it's a huge letdown for a lot of folks so far. That said, there's still over half a set to reveal before we jump to overwhelming doom and gloom, and then there's the miniset to release in the months to follow.
If you were hoping that Trump would get the election result flipped, I'd show you the door. Shaman, however, remains in limbo.
The shaman cards don't seem too good, but control shaman has been making waves recently and C'Thun is the late game finisher that deck has been looking for. I think that card alone will make a huge impact.

Lol, for the last 4 sets u say? Saviours of Uldum, quest shaman ruled the ladder. Galakronds awekening, Gala sham was pre nerf so strong i got no words. And u do now cry cuz of sham is so weak right now, yeah it is, but deserved this 100%.

Yes
we will truly see after more cards are revealed.
Truly i am too quick on the trigger but my expectations are really low.

Dazzle and dominate your foes as the Jewelcrafter!

I just want shaman to be trash cuz of all the people that are still crying about shaman being bad
It’ll be hella fun for duels tho 😜
Is that a murloc? Yawn....conceede!
