Who told you that? Yes it will give more rewards in terms of numbers but most of them will be cosmetic... not gold or decks. I now have 7k gold which I collected since the last expansion and I can buy 70 decks when the expansion launches. good luck getting the same number of decks once the new reward system is in place and you get awarded xp rather than “currency”
You don’t buy deck you buy packs lol what game are you playing are you buying decks of eBay lol.
In 2 days, when the new system launches, I will analyze it as thoroughly as I can. And I'm sure others will do the same.
I will write down every daily and weekly quest I come across and calculate how much exp you make on average, and which quests are worth rerolling; how much exp you make per game, how much exp you need for each level, and how long it takes to get to level 50 and beyond. I will also make sure to differentiate how much I get from quests and how much I get from playing. to put things into perspective how rewarding the playing part it is in comparison to the 10g/3wins we have now. If the amount of exp per game varies, I might even bother figuring out the parameters for determining the exp gain, like damage dealt, minions killed, damage taken, cards played, cards drawn etc.
Depending on how long it takes to get to level 50, this can take a while. The 1-50 period needs to be viewed seperately, because the amount of gold you make during the process is fixed, and I can only calculate how fast you can go through it. But eventually, I'll be able to come up with a gold/exp ratio to properly evaluate quests, and based on that, an average gold/day ratio. Of course, the rewards on the reward track won't get ignored entirely, but they'll get their own numbers, so there's a gold/day ratio within the reward track, and another one for once you are done with it.
And if those numbers don't add up to what the current system gives you, if there's hard evidence that the new system is worse, THEN you can start complaining.
I´ts the complete opposite, the new system will give you more rewards than the old one

You're actually cute lol. You think they are gonna say that we'll get less gold even if that's the case? OF COURSE they'll say that the new system is fantastic and it'll be a huge improvement.
Even if we do get "more stuff" it'll more than likely be for the paid portion of the battle pass, which means indeed they're taking gold and/or resources from everyone
Paid track only gives cosmetics and 10% Exp boost. This information is already public.

I dont know what you guys are eating for dinner nor breakfast. But i am sure as hell you guys aint eating normal food. First of all, at this point in game you are technically not a f2p. You played the game too much to a point where you can afford everything in the game by just playing it normally. But a new player who just joined the game which was me 5 years ago, was able to get their first normal deck done in about a year. Now with the new system instead of shit like "60 goLd pEr dAy" we get LEGENDARY'S. I dont know how lucky you guys are but in this expansion i played every day opened 2 packs in 3 days almost all the time. And Right now i have 6 legendary. 2 of them was crafted by me in the beggining of the expansion. And also i dont know how you guys are reading stuff, but they said you will get 150 gold for each extra level you get after level 50. Therefore you can still technically get those high gold numbers. Because remember normally in a day you can only get 160 gold on average. And its CAPPED at that number. With the new system again we dont know how much exp we get so telling anything is hard, you can get 450 gold if you play all day and also do quests and stuff. Again i am just giving an example if leveling up is easy. Back the Hearthstone was a daily chore that you had to do everyday. With the new system it feels like a thing where you just jump in play and quit without losing anything. Also the paid version of the battle pass is told to be straight ahead cosmetics. So between a p2w player and a f2p player on battlepass there wont be any difference.
I dont know what you guys are eating for dinner nor breakfast.
Not hard to figure out what you've been eating. Team 5 dick!!
This is exactly the reason why they have changed the reward system. So people who don't think too hard get all excited about the extra rewards they're going to get.
Newsflash mate - it's less than 48hrs and they haven't even announced the cost of the Battle Pass, much less the structure of the rewards chain. It's going to be a complete shit show. If you think this developer is going to give away *more* stuff than it has had to in the past, you're deluded. They'll dress their mutton up like lamb so the non-thinkers will eat it up while they pull the rug out from under your feet.

Here's the thing. while I don't think Blizzard does anything out of the goodness of Activision's heart, they have been slowly giving more and more rewards. from the removal of the 40 gold quests to the fact that pre-orders contain almost twice as much as they used to. this is not due to them being more generous, but due to the fact that there is a lot more competition than there was when hearthstone first came out. five years ago Hearthstone was the only truely successful digital card game. now we have Legends of Runetera, MTG Arena, Yugioh Duel Links, and many others.
while I don't know if they are actually going to give more for the new reward track I completely believe they could. the idea of changing things isn't to screw over players, but to make a more "engaging" experience of earning rewards. of course when I saw "engaging" i mean to make players play more so the playerbase remains lively and Blizzard can keep the whales around by having a healthy playerbase. but Blizzard needs to be nice to f2p players otherwise the whales have less fun.
I know it's activision and even satan stays away from them. but I do believe the point of this move is to try and get people addicted to the unlock treadmill, rather than to deprive players of gold. let's see how wrong i am in two days :D
I don't know why everyone don't mention, 1 free leg at the start it's like old 1 free leg at the launch of new expansion. It's not extra, it's like it was before, but some people thinks it's new free stuff. Also, don't forget we always get 3-7 packs at the launch, now, no info about it, that's means it was already implemented into pass. Also, there is no just 10% boost, i ve seen 10% at the start then another 10% at lvl 20 or tho and maybe another 10% somewhere at the end. That's mean it's 20-30% difference. Also, Blizz really trying reveal their shit at last moment. It's really strange, no 100% info still. I guess only after release we will know. If it will be like this, i m out. Sry, but game already trying suck your money so much.

I don't think any of the things you suggest are confirmed yet. My guess is that we'll probably get a small amount of packs, and a legendary with the expansion release. This would bring a lot of old players back I think. I hope your wrong lol

There is additional xp bonus on paid reward track
I literally said this ''10% EXP boost''
Additional usually means its more than the start xp bonus
will i lose all my gold i have?

true 100% and lol'ed hard, so ty :D
My pleasure! =)
we will get gold from the pass, however there are doubts about how much and how fast can you progress to farm
and of course, if the resources will be enough to get mini-set released after expansion
there is not enough information to know that until they launch and we see it
There will be at least 10% of exp difference.

I was hoping MTGA coming out Q4 on mobile. That is delayed so i'll still be trying the new system out, at least until MTGA comes to mobile.
