First of all, apologies if this is quite obvious and I don´t get, or if it has been explained before and I could not find it...
But I don´t really get Battlegrounds and Duels rating number.... What is it supposed to mean? Mine right now is 3840... Is it good? Is it bad? Am I above or below the average? How far I am from the top players, or how close to the bott om players.... The number tells me nothing.
The ranked play rating system is clear, with its tiers, numbers and the legend rank..... But this 4 digits rating is totally a mystery to me.
So far the ratings for bg are: Around 5k is average, around 8k is above average, around 10k is semi pro, above 12k is considered as pro. Dont know the details about duels tho cause its still a new game mode.
I think the " Duels " mode will wind up being the streamer/whale mode because they will always have a clear advantage over that mode when it is finally released. It may become pointless for the rest of the player base to try to catch up to that knowledge advantage, especially if the structure to play in said mode remains the same.
Curious that Iksar was allowed to release the statistics for ranked distribution in Battlegrounds as recently as March of 2021, and yet Blizzard has deigned not to release any information about percentiles for ranked ladder since late 2019 prior to the introduction of the new ranked system.
