So, is it me or do the daily quests seem to be lower than normal? 50 gold quests, even after rerolls. This used to be more rare I feel. Maybe they changed it because of the expansion that is around the corner. Thoughts?
I just got the 100 gold mission today.... Yesterday was one of 60 gold... Days before 3 or 4 50 gold missions in a row... So i don't think is that... They didn't give me the 80 gold mission of play with a friend in like a month tho. And actually since i started my new account with the release of scholomance academy they didn't gave me "the watch a friend" mission.
Granted this is one of my best months, but so far:
26 (60's), 3 (50's), 1 (80). I don't keep track of re-rolls so I don't know how many of the 60's were originally 50's.
I started keeping track 4 years (48 months ago). I've been averaging 1685.6 per month. This is ONLY in regards to daily quests, I keep track of "other" gold separately.
My best month was 1940 and my worst was 1300, but that was back when we still have 40g quests. Works out to around 56 gold per day overall.

Truly an impressive work. Do you track it on a spreadsheet?
Yeah. I'm a former math teacher and I love statistics, so it's more of a weird "passion" (probably not the right word...LOL).
Anyway, like I said, I just update it every day I play. I only keep track of the amount of gold each day for the current month; many of the older months, I just recorded the total daily quest gold for the season. There were actually some missed dailies in there when I had 3 already and life got in the way : (
It could be more detailed but it gives a good overall idea of the averages I think.
At some time last year, a lot of quests were upgraded to 60g, and only a few 50s remained. Due to every quest having the same chance of appearing, you could very reliably roll for 60g quests, to the point that I didn't have to complete a single 50g quest in months.
However, earlier this year, with the introduction of Demon Hunter and new class-related quests, they changed the entire system so that there's a 50/50 chance to get 50g (or "easy" quests like Spectator and Friendly Challenge) or 60g quests. Since there are way more 60g than 50g quests, the chance for 50s was effectively increased. If you keep seeing 50s, you lost multiple coin flips in a row.

Hi my dood.
when there made it from 40 to 50 there made so you rarely got 50 quest but now its like 75% 50 gold quest and 20% 60 gold and 5% to get the rest
