When I saw Darkmoon Rabbit during the reveal stream I was both amused and confused. While on paper it seems like a fair price for it's effect, the unfortunate issue is that with how ladder generally gravitates toward aggressive decks it will likely become another dust collector for players. In Midrange or control match ups there are simply more efficient, and cheaper, removal spells to deal with threats as well. So I thought how can this card be utilized by way of a cheat spell that doesn't break other high cost minions. My idea led me to a hunter spell.
5 mana: Summon a beast from your deck with 2 or less attack.
At 5 mana it is a powerful synergy for hunters giving access to cards like Tundra Rhino, Vilebrood Skitterer, Zixor, Apex Predator and of course the rabbit. It comes with the risk of drawing the rabbit(s) before you draw the spell, however it also gives hunter access to a midrange high tier removal effect that they tend to lack at the moment. This could help develop midrange hunter strategies again, or maybe the mythical control hunter that has been pushed a few times with cards from previous sets.
So what's everyone else's thoughts on this card idea or the rabbit? Do you think the rabbit will be playable as it? Do you think there may be methods not yet revealed to increase it's potential? Or do you simply enjoy the reference but think the rabbit will likely not see any play?
Doesnt matter. Control Hunter never be tier 1 deck, because the class have no heal. I see the only class that interest in this is Druid, which have no problem playing a 10 mana card. And is a class that have weakest boardclear/hard removals

Hunter has this card that can reduce the cost of a beast by 5 I think, but still right now the Rabbit looks like a terrible card...
