What this thread shows is that the way matchmaking and randomness work needs a tweak. Long win streaks and long lose streaks should not happen.
BGs also have the same issue, because who goes first in a fight, and how often this happens, is not checked/controlled. Same for who plays whom and how many times. This leads to a lot of frustration (e.g. Being the only one who plays the first guy twice).
But I guess these things don't matter to Blizzard that much, and we have to respect their status of "small indie company".
The type of deck you play determines your opponent when climbing ladder. For example add a swamp ooze or a kobold stickyfinger and or even a wyrmrest purifier to your deck and you won't get warriors anymore for 50 games only 1 warrior and without them for 50 games 12 warriors.
When I'm stuck in bumper to bumper traffic on the highway and decide to switch over to the lane which appears to be moving I always get stuck and the lane I just left becomes the one which starts accelerating...I personally think the highway department is conspiring against me but I'm interested to get your take on the matter.

Really? Same thing happens to me when I'm at the store. Whichever checkout lane I choose is always the slowest! I think we've stumbled on something big. The conspiracy is deeper than we realize.

Same thing happens when you're at the roulette table and see red hit 5+ times in a row while you are playing black....the second you switch over the streak will reverse.
Most casino games are, if not all. They can't afford to leave their income to "chance".
I said it in another post as well - there are not many differences between roulettes and HS. The matchmaking in constructive, tavern / order of attack in BGs and rng in both are all resulting in a gambling experience - ie better luck next time. If the game was purely strategy like chess, only a few would play it.
yes, matchmaking is “rigged” if you want to use that word for the advanced algorithm behind it.

I don't think they are "rigged" so much as they are constructed in a way to give the illusion of giving the player better odds than what they really are.

Correct. Casinos have no reason to "rig" roulette or any other game: the games themselves are built to make money for the house. They know that some people will get lucky and win big, but they also know that, in aggregate, they are making more money than they're paying out. (In fact, they like it when a few people win big, as it entices others to gamble more.) Depending on whether you're playing the European or American version of roulette, the casino's advantage is either about 2.7% or 5.2%.
This is true of all the card games/ slot machines/ etc. at a casino. Every game there has a negative expected value for the player. That's why the house always wins in the end.
...but then wouldn't it work the other way too? You face 6 decks with no Ooze so you play Bomb Warrior and suddenly see tons of Oozes. This is why these threads always fall apart. You say that the system is set up to punish you and only you.
People point to the idea that Blizzaed wants everyone's winrate close to 50%. So if you have a 60% positive record, let's say, and have a deck that is strong against weapons, the game might pit you against a deck you are less favored to win against to even it out. I'm not even sure how well they could or would micro manage that, but it's the closest I can see to even begin to fathom the point of this thread.
game is rigged, from RNG, to packs, to matchups, to card order......all designed to inspire spending. All F2P games do this. The legion of community managers and shills will deny it. Tell you it is confirmation bias, accuse you of paranoia etc. It is all tactics and all BS. The game is rigged and all experienced players know this.

Roulettes are actually rigged, though :D

Thank you!
people thinking there’s some evil doing behind everything are also those people who believe in conspiracy theories.
Occam’s razor, people!!!
Hahahaha
Those evil highway departments.
