There's lots of small balance changes they could do with Elementals.
Lil Rag and Majordomo Executus could effectively swap abilities. The Executus effect is worse, so if that's what has the elemental, but and the +x/+x is now on the non-elemental, that's a minor balance nerf. It'd also be thematically nice, since Lil'rag would now target the leftmost minion, like big Rag.
Another easy direction is doing a Mama Bear/Goldrinn sort of thing, where some tavern tiers are swapped. What if Nomi is now a Tier 6, but Garr or Djinni gets weakened and brought down to Tier 5? That slows down the super-scaling of Elementals, to a pace a lot closer to Dragons.
I think if they swapped the current t5 and t6 elementals, it would be a disaster. Elementals hinge on finding nomi or rag as a triple reward, usually as an upgrade from a t4 golden triple on turn 6. Garr and Djinni just don’t boost stats of squishy minions and party elemental also falls short. The whole comp is about lil rag and nomi as early as possible.
That's the big problem, though. Whole comp relies on one of two minions. Miss it and the game sucks, and you have to get it early since the games are too fast.
However, Elemental power levels are a bit high, probably simply because they have *two hits* in both Rag and Nomi makes it a lot more consistent than other late-game builds. If only Rag remains at 5, but Nomi goes to six, that's a lit more like Beasts or Pirates. There's a reason Goldrinn and Eliza aren't on the same tavern tier as Mama Bear and Captain Hogger.
Meanwhile, being able to get Garr started at 5 instead of 6 means he's not utterly worthless.

Once BG came out I stopped playing wild and standard. Got to rank 2 has my best. Been playing BG every since. I didnt like the direction they were going so I switched over -.-

couldn't have said it better myself. The nerf hammer will definitely be dropped once all the data comes in, no doubt.. surprised its taking this long >.< lol .. So far since the patch I played 2 games has Rag the hero and received 2 1st places quite easily actually lol... games go so fast now because the OP heros do too much damage very early, knocking everyone out so fast! he will be getting the same treatment has elementals soon im sure haha the game needs more diversity, we need incentive to play other tribes
The only real problem i have with bgs is heroes that provide complete late game scaling i.e. rag and jandice. Knowing how to scale the fastest is what separates the good players from the great ones. And if a hero power does that for free, without even taking up a minion slot, it essentially removes a layer of skill from the game. Other than that tho i think bgs is in a great spot. I dont even mind elementals being so strong because theyre fun as fuck to play.

If it's the first, why bother playing. Maybe they can create more complex heroes so you can raise your chances to win by playing well. Another option they can create more complex cards and reduce the impact from heroes. Or some middleground, rag definitely feels like the hero is winning you the game.

Earlygame murlocs have been bad for a very long time. They only really were shining late, when you get those big poisonous guys up with divine shield, if you survive that long...

Sometimes the rolls makes no fucking sense. You get one tribe piece from discover and a completely different one from your next all the way down to top 8.
What exactly is the skill involved here? Streamers are just playing hundreds of games every week getting lucky with their hero choices and rolls. Grinding the slotmachine.
yep, just remove mega-windfury from early game... it just wrecks all boards, remeber when playing Zap was a tactical tech vs some minions, now I play 3 star windfury, followed by 4 star megawindfury while gaining stats to 30/30 minion wrecking all minions... even, playing elementals is just as stupid as playing Jade druid..., I just play this guy, to give stats to my another guy, who gives stats to all of my big guys.... stupid, boring, self playing strategy /applaud and as I stated few times here on forum, who goes first has bigg advantage, I just played final round, we had 4 fights, my opponent went first 3 out of those 4 games and for the surprise, I won that one game, he won other 3 and I lost..., make the position of rank which you are to decide who goes first, who is at the worse place should go first to get better outcome of his poor minions, or bad luck, there are no comeback mechanisms, Annihilant it´s just pure joke vs 7 30/30 elementals...
I like how it’s “all you need to do is get a divine shield poison” to counter elementals, maybe. That’s all? Just get a good amalgadon roll or two and you are good, don’t mind the fact that in turn 10 you are taking 27 dmg...
