First of all people please this is no salt thread, just asking around, just looking for opinions of other players. There is this feeling(feelings are not based on facts I know) Like if sometimes the RNG gods just don't like you? You're the scissors but you get rock for some amount of time.
I am not sure but after a good 3 maybe 4 game winning row it feels like a switch is turned on and you are bound with a 10 game loosing spree. The devolving missiles start hitting the same target 3x out of 4 targets. Or you swap all 4 cards and get exactly the same 4 cards back. (This card swapping I wanted to investigate deeper, this post is about this actually)
I understand the math behind missiles, yes it can happen, sometimes 1/6, sometimes 1/16, still those odds are still low. (If you are unlucky yeah then you are unlucky, no harm done here)
But never mind that, I went way out of my head so I checked my last 200 games at HS replay. 15 of them I have chosen to replace all my cards, of these 15 games for 3 of them I got exactly the same cards back. So that makes it 1/5 for my personal experience. Let's say I have every card 2 times (I don't but for the sake of it) so the chance of drawing the first same card is 1/15, the second card is 1/14,5, third card 1/14 and the last 1/13,5.
The odds of it happening should be lower then what I have experienced last 200 games which is 1/5. I wanted to hear from other peeps what their experience is. Please share.
bruv i catch your drift cuz i have the worst luck in hearthstone probably blizzard trying to fleece me to buy their packs or some shizzle. peace out blad/bruv.
How come I never see any threads involving incidents where people have greatly benefited from RNG? Seems like those incidents are always conveniently forgotten.

Because we never benefit from RNG. We win through skill but we lose due to bad RNG. If Blizzard wasn't manipulating everything, a lot of us highly skilled players would be undefeated rank 1 legend players.

Probably an accident. Or flaw in game code, but there's a low chance for this. Still, a flaw in game code sounds more likely than system being rigged on purpose
oddity is high with rng you see lots of time lottery winning possibility comes true people thinks that player that complain here only considering when bad things happen to them but no infact I consider the times when rng favors me and I can clearly perceive that rng is flawed.
I mean, I've been starting to use bad RNG as a strategy. I can basically predict exactly how my opponent will fuck me over with a top deck or a random effect or created by card. And then I use this to hold back cards or counterplay it.
Fun fact: I'm 90% right about predicting what RNG my opponent has, sometimes I can counter it, sometimes it's just "Well, he's going to topdeck a blizzard and destroy my board......can't win them all I guess"

Welcome to "Reading Your Opponent". This is exactly how you are supposed to play the game if you want to be a better player. :-)

That is the best thing you can do. Especially in arena you need to prepare for the worst to make the best play.

Seems reasonable... XD

Everytime you have bad luck, your opponent has great luck. Everytime you have bad luck, people post on the forums. It's rarely the opposite.
