Is it just me or BG become way harder this is my last game for example: https://ibb.co/dPRYngh . I ended up 5th with this game winning comp. Before that i ended up 7. or 8. 5 times in a row. Like is here something im missing. Last two days become unplayable for me.

poison is nice but you not win 100% anymore with it.. and no its not harder its the same as allways... in the game you in there allso players that get all the outer ranks so it will allways be the same.. it just you who need to be better at the meta this patch sure you might be ulucky some times
Ok fair enough im not saying that its guarantee first place, but not even 4th? The thing is this wasnt even so late it was like turn 12.-13. Cause i had insane early turns i tripled tidehunter on 7 gold and hit gold grubber right away that i trippled like 2-3 turns after that. Even this dont give me top 4 now :D Another game i finished right now: https://ibb.co/9gR9PPd this is turn 8 i hit rank 5 immediately tripled into Kaly and im dead classic :D You know just wanted to share my pain :D
The easy win comps are much less viable to string together so quickly, and we are finally rid of the Divine Shield Murloc debacles (Thank goodness). Beasts were briefly a problem, but they get outpaced now by other decks. Murlocs can still work, but are thankfully much less consistently top every game. It leaves room for other comps to have a chance to win. The game has become much more decision-based and strategic rather than "Who managed to get Brann and all the decent Murlocs first".
The same composition can end up on the very bottom and in top 4 depending on the matchups. I played with my friend recently, we both went demons, I had objectively a better board (almost the same minions, but mine were bigger and I had 2 Jugglers, while he had one) - I was 7th, he ended up in top 3. Why? Because I played my last game against a player who high rolled like crazy (probably won the entire game without any troubles whatsoever), got absolutely stomped by him, while my friend didn't even face him until the very end (and got killed by him as well).
Another game played ended up 5-6 but i want to share the board i died to unfortunately i was to slow to print screen it. It was Cat with: Golden Baron, Golden Spawn, Golden egg, 2 Golden Bombs, and golden Kangor dont remember the last minion. But wtf :D never saw something like that is that even possible?Turn 11 btw.
since the new patch there are an insane amount of highrolls. it happened to me a few times the last days, that i was in first place at > 35 health and lost 2 games in a row and was out, because they hit me for about ~20. the game feels a lot faster than before, but that can just be my imagination
For me it the last two days until than it was ok. But i have exactly same feeling rn its always like ok turn 8 i have decent board i got kaly/bran so i can start scalibg and bam -25 and dead. But that screen i shared i had insane luck as you can see that was like turn 12 i was 1st and than bam twice in a row they had 2 amalgams with poison/shield and i was gone.
In fairness, when the meta changed, I plummeted about 1.6k down in rank until I got a handle on the new style of play. Yes, it is definitely faster (and games are a little shorter than before, which I personally tend to prefer. I hate the long games where you end up losing for no reason out of the blue. Such a waste of time).
Once I got the hang of the new playstyle (you simply can't play the same way as before; unless you have a strong opener, you need to build up before tiering up), I found the climb went quite quickly and soared past the previous rank I was.

It was new patch 2 days ago? Cause i was steadily climbing until then now im -700. So what is the difference in meta now? What exactly im missing rn?

With some exceptions, you need to level up faster than before. You might lose some early game matches here and there, but those are the players that deal 15+ damage on turn 7 and 8 when they outtavern you and have a full board of t4, 5 and 6 minions.
That's why Maiev is unquestionably the #1 hero atm. She can pick up easy triples that allow her to tavern up 2 turns in a row and then discover a 5 or 6 drop to stabilize and then snow-ball the rest of the game from there.
That was before the patch the case as well tho. With the introduction of Jandice (Just need 1 or 2 Pogo to skip to tavern ups) and Omu (fast tiering), it just got a bit more emphasized I feel.
Well thats basically my playstyle i tend to powerlevel when there is oportunity and Omu is my favorite hero of all. Hmmm
Omu is a very high-roll character. If you try and power level with him you are rolling the dice a lot and can hit or miss. He can be really great or you can find yourself chasing the curve the whole game. It happens to a lot of characters and its part of the mode, really.
Omu is the safest character for the 'tier-up fast' strategy. It allows you to buy a minion and upgrade your tavern on the same turn and always 1-2 rounds faster than the rest of the lobby (for example on 6 gold you can tier up to 3 and buy a minion). The main 'high-roll' is whether you will be able to find something good once in tier 4 or higher as until then you are probably not building your comp but just buying 'random stats'
Yea i know that so from i hear i still playing more or less correctly just have really bad luck. Well i played two more games now and im below 9k :D So it seems i just need a break for the rest of a week. Now i dont know what i will do at work :D

Maiev wasn't really a top tier hero before. It started as trash and then got progressively better as the game was getting faster and faster. And now it's on the top, because we reached a breaking point tbh.

I'm really not sure it was ever considered to be "Trash". Maiev was always a very strong hero once people learned how to utilise her. A bit like Janice in fact.

I have exactly same feeling! Last few rounds was terrible for me..

People are getting smarter...FeelsBadMan
I almost got 2nd with this comp(11k mmr)
Joking aside, I agree with you. You can't feel safe enough even with great comps. Which is kind of good, everybody has a chance to win now

Jandice took hours to become top, Maiev took weeks :)
