Atleast in yugioh you can counter it with mystical space typhoon or similar stuff but in Hearthstone only mage can do that which will probably be one of the classes who will run it so probably won’t even counter it.
How would that card work in Hearthstone? A minion with that text? A spell somehow with effect till destroyed ? We would need several expansions till we can get such cards.
Mage needs some better control cards printed, warrior and priest need better board clears. The aggro meta would be fixed if Taunt warrior got more support, mage had less casino and more predictable removal and threats, and priest wasn’t limited by the 4 power problem. All of these classes have lost great control cards and had weak gimmicky replacements. That’s how you fix aggro, not by introducing ridiculous yugi-oh cards.
I would strongly suggest to not print a bunch of board clears to warrior and priest they already have a bunch in wild you already can make a board clear priest yogg in wild to troll people.

Yes, but your logic is pretty much wrong. I mean, you're saying that Priest, Warrior etc. should not have good control tools, because they do have them in wild. Well, what if I like control Warrior or Priest, but don't play wild? I like standard more, because wild annoys me with its unlimited crazy stuff, so I play standard. However, I hate aggro. It gives you wins, but no fun at all, so I play control decks much more (with little success this expansion though). Don't get me wrong, I'm playing in Diamond and Legend ranks, where I actually got way before the DH bullshit, so I consider myself a decent player, but with the meta like it is right now, I don't have any motivation to play the game. So I think they should actually give control classes good anti-aggro cards, maybe not so strong as the one suggested in this thread, but at least something on the power level of Reno Jackson.
Or we could just do something a lot more feasible and make Zilliax a part of the classic set. A neutral anti-aggro card which offers sustain really should exist in the classic/basic set.

I would argue that making wild worse is a poor reason to not support archetypes in standard. I do agree that it would be nice for the control centric classes (priest, warrior) to have better control cards in classic. I would say dragonfire potion and/or shadow word: horror for priest. Mage is hurting for volcanic potion replacement or a Kazakus AOE effect. Warrior should have death’s bite.
Zilliax was a great anti-aggro, but it was a bit much. Tar creeper or sludge belcher would do just fine.

we already have a card that works like that, Lakkari Sacrifice, or well more specifically Nether Portal, and well those guys frome the portal brawl that reduce the cost of portals by 1. the technology is already there.
I’m all for slowing games down a bit and encouraging control but I think very few control decks right now could out value priest. Combo decks were previously their weakness in slow metas but mindrender Illucia has changed that. You might end up with even more priest v priest mirrors and at tier 1.
I think all that’s needed though is better healing options for slowing these multitudes of face decks. Think antique healbot, old Reno, Zilliax, the 1 mana 2/2 that healed for 4 etc.
It is a bit silly that we have hunter, warrior, dh and rogue all with topish tier decks that look to just punch face.
This would completely break the game. Think about a deck like OTK Mage which is balanced around the fact that it can get rushed down before they assemble the combo. Also what type of card would it be? It can't be a spell cause there are no continuos spells in HS. It could be a Quest-type spell I guess, and I mean in terms of functionality cause those are the only types of spells (and secrets) that liger around on the field. It can't be a minion cause it can easily be traded and you would need your opponent to at least have 2 minions. It could be a weapon but at that point everyone would run ooze cause this type of effect would be game winning.
Also Mystic Mines can be removed but if it was a regular spell in HS then it's impossible to remove and so are quests.
I don't want healing. I want my duskbreaker back. I was shocked they didn't give Priest a board clear this expansion. And you could have knocked me over with a feather when they nerfed the one defensive card they did get in acolyte.
