I also think that perhaps controversially they need to consider making puzzlebox undiscoverable or played by the prime, it's getting quite annoying how often this card is used right now in high ranks and even GM. Just makes the match a joke and a roulette.
Even though I mostly play tempo mage if all the other decks see nerfs I think it might be worth making evocation unable to be discovered from Magic Trick too. It's actually mad how much of a high roll getting this is, especially in the mirror.
Surprised how quickly Darkglare got nerfed seeing as it's only just started competing amongst the big boys. Willow I guess is buffed in being able to play it a turn earlier but 2/2 stat change is quite harsh. I have it golden so thats insta DE lucky me!!
Nice to see passage nerf, Shaman needs more buffs obviously and druid needs to be looked at, amazed they've left it honestly. If any class was dominating as hard as shaman is statistically suffering it would get changed much quicker, just get on with it already.
Dark glare just died, moment of silence. Is painlock still a thing? Hell yes it is. Now it’s going to be more focused on theDiseased Vulture and Curvestone.
I also think soul fragment HandLock might finally see some play.
I haven't played hearthstone in a year, is it still the case that if I craft all nerved cards in golden I will get my dust on the patch day back?
No, that is for when cards are moved to the Hall of Fame. For nerfs, you can DE any number of copies for the crafting cost, but you can't make profit by crafting something.
For HOF rotation, you can actually make a profit if you don't own any copies of the cards already. You can also make the legendaries golden by missing out of 1200 dust.
HS player since 2014 here. Not sure I've ever been as disappointed with the wimpiness of Blizzard's nerfbat as I am this round.
Paladin is, statistically, better than things they've nerfed in the past for being too good. I want to see it nerfed, but I'm not entirely surprised they're letting it go.
But I thought they'd at LEAST go after the most degenerate, un-fun-to-play-against deck in the history of the game (turtle Mage), seeing as it's made its way into Grandmasters play.
Why are people crying about Druid? It is annoying in the rare cases it actually highrolls, but cmon, there are so many decks beating it with no problems at al. From Paladin to Rogue to demonhunter to Mages, both Highlander and no minions.
Druid might be high roll, but the number of different high rolls it has, and the strength of the cards it has that massivly increase it's high roll potential is just boring to play against. I'm not even sure I would say the deck high rolls because it is far too consistent, I would just say it is slightly weak to early game aggro.
Just played a game where he got 2 guardian animals, turn 7 classic Alexstasza, turn 8 Y'sara unleashed and then turn 9'ed into overflowed into 2 classic Y'sara and a plagued protodrake (which dropped winged guardian) and played 2 Anubisath Defender. Slightly salty sure, but I'm not sure it's even worth the salt. A high roll used to be cheating out your lich king or something on turn 5.
I'm sure there will be the 'git gud' morons out there but HS is a much worse game for the amount of 'high roll' there is in the game now.

I mean it highrolls against slower or control decks if those slower or control decks play for value, but otherwise unless you draw guardian animals you're pretty likely to die early because you're just literally doing nothing until like turn... 5 or 6 and it's potentially too late to catch up.
I love how Archwitch Willow has to lose +2 +2 in stats to be an 8 drop and then you have shit like Murozond that is an 8/8 and copy your opponents entire turn. Yeah. Balanced.

Like I say weak to aggro. By turn 4/5/6 though there also is also a good chance it can throw up a wall of at least 1 teachers pet and 1 anubisath defender which unless you've got face burn (SP rogue) is just going to stop you in your tracks. Next turn overflow and you're massivly behind.
Are people still playing Druid? Seriously? I forgot about that deck. Last I checked Druid was sitting with an overall 49% win rate... But, yeah.. Nerf away 😂😂
It's worth remembering that card nerfs target decks, not classes. The Guardian deck is currently the third most-played deck on ladder, with a 53% win-rate on HSReplays, while its most popular variant sits at 58%. The class win-rate is slightly below 50% because of the rise in play of Combo Druid - but Malygos decks are typically more difficult to pilot than most other decks, and their low win-rate isn't reflective of their actual power-level when piloted by folks who know what they are doing.
I've played as and against the Maly ramp deck this expansion because it's been fun for me and I always see people screaming for nerfs because they played a single match against someone who was able to bust out Ysera by turn 4 or 5; however, I never see them discussing their other matches against that same deck where they were able to absolutely molly-whop the player by turn 6 because their mulligan left them with a limp dick hand of Alex, some overflows and a swipe.

Ahhh, gutted. I guess that's fair enough, gotta hope it becomes meta defining then.

Nerfs and buffs, but not good ones.
Darkglare was completely out of control in Wild.

Thank god they will nerf Darkglare
It is ok, you just do not kill me turn four, but turn seven

HUGE difference between turn 4 and turn 7. Control decks that make it to turn 7 will usually win.

Mage beats Druid? Sure...
