People who constantly call for nerfs will continue to do just that. What you don’t realize that even if you got everything you want, SOMETHING will take its place. And then you’re going to want that nerfed, and then something else will take its place.
In card games and in this case hearthstone, there is always going to be a best combination of 30 cards. Tweaks can be made to adjust for the meta, but there will always be a “best synergy.” And depending on who you are and how you look at things, there will always be people that think those synergies are too overpowered.
You need to understand and appreciate that the mindset of constantly wanting nerfs means you will never be satisfied.
I’ve been calling for Glaivebound Adept’s head this whole year!
But none of this would really “balance” the meta, balance as a concept is natural. Things fall into their respective places according to balance. Definitely, you have highlighted some problematic cards and proposed some solutions I think would make people happy. I don’t think blizzard is likely to touch the cards you’re pointing out though—they like Druid having ramp, and librams are their own playkit they would never be nerfed. More likely is a change to guardian animals, or the thresher/card draw cat/taunt beast. With respect to Paladin, it’s gonna be the braggart card I believe.
I would be surprised if Hunter is nerfed at all and if stealth rogue sees a nerf.
I agree that Rogue feels too powerful now. The amount of face damage they can deal out by turn 5 is disgusting. But it would only take a minor nerf or two.
Priest is gross. I have no idea how to fix it.
Face Hunter is another deck that is just too strong. You're dead by turn 6. I'm not sure what the answer is there. Tour Guide is probably too strong - zero cost hero power is insane for Hunter.
Druid - it's Guardian Animals. It is just too strong. Games against Druid feel awful.
Or, they could buff the weaker classes - Paladin and Shaman. And yes, I include Paladin there. The class barely exists in high ranks. It just can't compete with the power that Rogue, Hunter, DH an even Warlock can dish out.
I would approve of old Malygos flying into the hall of fame. He is such a big tilt factor and especially in the druid way too overpowered. With Survival of the fittest, Ysera, Mountseller and Animal companion, he has 4 (!) win conditions. And people are complaining about the current tier 3 priest. That just doesn't go into my sparrow brain !!!!
Well I don't like nerfs at all, but if they had to nerf something, I would call for Self-Sharpening Sword. I just feel like this card is very unfair for the opponent, because the crazy things Rogues can do with it alone are quite frustrating. However, I still think the whole set is well balanced and while this is not one of my favorite meta's ever, I still can't really think of a card that needs to be changed from it. If I were Blizzard, I would rather concentrate on finally reworking the Basic and Classic sets than make unnecessary changes to new cards.
The meta is more balanced than it has been in years. Why do some people always complain and at the same time eat skeletons of native Thai people?
... that escalated quickly.
Indeed people are too sensitive when it comes to this topic maybe because you touch their favourite tier 1 deck or class. What they do not understand is that small nerfs like this reshuffle the game and create every time a new meta, which is more fun and healthier for the game. But no, since they found their deck and they're so keen on it they are terrified by possible meta changes.
By the way he sounds like he is the real skeleton eater
I think its more so the time in between buffs and nerfs. I think a monthly buff and nerf to a couple cards would be really cool for the game. just small tweaks here and there on more of a regular basis. At the start of every month for example.

Lol that overgrowth nerf out of nowhere xD

What about the priest?
OP is the priest player, right?
... that escalated quickly.
blad priest needs a big time buff and ting you know. all priest decks are tier 3 right now there should be at least one tier 2 deck. blad.
Wow. Hectic man. This is just a card game, not a smut forum.
a lot of your changes are bad but theres a lot of shit wrong with DH
Clearly it wasn't guardian animals, it wasn't kael'thas, it wasn't lightning bloom... it was overgrowth all along!
Then after Blizzard nerfs overgrowth...
NERF Acornbearer! TOO OP TURN 1 OMG.
Honestly these armchair balance wanna bees should just shut it and play the game.

I just want to see Lightning Bloom, Secret Passage and Voracious Reader nerfed

Nope, for priest I would probably nerf Sethekk and reduce its health maybe 2/2 or even 2/1 so that it is easier to remove early game.
We can add it to the list if you wish
