I am under the same impression, in both directions, thus, the game is (appears to be / seems to be) rigged from the inside. Many may refuse this, but I have played Poker almost professionally and know the likelihood of my opposing decks card-draw and some card-draw and deck composition just smells of premeditated or even guided.
Thx for your help everybody, I will stick to my beloved odd-paladin.

Yes I had exactly the same with my mage, I think the problem is that the game makes you tilt. Yes luck is a factor, especially when your opponent has not only a worse deck then you but also makes mistakes, despite this his RNG can save him and your RNG can kill you. I still think that RNG favors the payer, whenever I get a Khadgar (paid for character) as opponent for example (if someone pays for his char it means he throws shitloads of money to the game), whenever this is my opponent and they throw in a puzzlebox I know that none of the 10 spells will be negative top him.
This makes you tilt.
I have Khadgar as my default Mage skin, and my Puzzle Boxes aren't any better or worse than my opponents'. Sometimes I come out okay, and sometimes I Conjurer's Calling my opponent's Malygos into Rattlegore and Ysera, then give one of them Reborn. If buying skins made my RNG better, I'd never lose a game. As it is, I get plenty of lousy choices from my Discover effects, and my opponents are able to pull just the right card from their Wand Thief.
The R in RNG is "random." "$_spent" is not a variable that affects its outcomes.
Actually answering the OP's question, Priest is in a really bad state and if you really want to have success with it, I recommend playing in Wild mode. You have a tier 1 deck of Reno Priest (or Raza Priest, call it however you want) and Inner Fire combo actually works. The amount of aggro is not as high as in Standard, so for a fully control class like Priest it's really good. Yes sometimes you can encounter Kingsbane Rogue or Pirate Warrior, who will just kill you beofre turn 5, but well you just have to suck it up and try another game. In Standard you can do that as well, but around 90% of decks now are Aggro/Zoo/Face/Tempo etc. so control just sucks....
I homebrewed a thief priest deck that I’m refining. Not sure if it will pan out or not. Biggest problem is the lack of a win condition because currently it is the opponent’s win condition.
Maybe you weren't annoying enough for your opponents to concede ? cause i do when they steal my best cards to beat me, oh wait they can steal my turn too now...
The quantity of stealing is crazy.
2x Cabal priestess
2x Spellburst cabal priestess
2x thoughtsteal
2x mind vision
2x 1-mana steal
1x Murazond
1x Deathrattle steal guy
1x Discover steal
1x Steal entire hand
I mean, steal doesn't even make sense for Priest from a flavor perspective. It should be a Rogue thing.
In a related matter, it's now common for Priest and Mage to run 10+ legendaries in a single deck.
Wrong. Priest using mind-domination powers; imagine your cards like abstractive thoughts instead of real piece of paper... that s why priest has the access to your things.

Okay. But I forgot one: 2x Shadow Madness. It's just a lot of stealing.
It already bears witness to a deep wisdom in such a loosing streak, to blame the game or, even better, to look to higher powers. What does a person do in order not to have to question himself? Either you are cursed, the meta sucks or the match-making system is a head of water. To really get better and develop, you should first question YOURSELF and consider what you can do better. Incidentally, this also applies to all other areas of life.

All of that and people STILL cry that the class needs more draw. Unbelievable.
The Mantra of Capitalism: It is YOU, YOU must try harder, the system is FAIR, EVERYBODY can make it, YOU cannot, because YOU are not, devoted(tm), dilligent(tm) or hungry(tm) enough. If YOU fail, it is YOU who fails, not the SYSTEM. Believe it my brother as much as you want, I, whereas, I do NOT.
Yes, but it doesn't mean that the deck is very strong. Compare the stats of Priest in standard with those in wild and you'll see what I'm talking about. Popularity and winrate is not the same and I do have a clue what I'm talking about. First of all High legend is not the only rank in the game and if you want to talk about the state of a certain class, you have to look at all ranks.
You think the game is rigged? Lol what the hell did you do to make you think you deserve 32 straight losses then?
But really, just play a different class for a bit, take a break from ranked, etc. come back to your priest netdecks later and all will be well in the world.

As have I. And, if that's true, you also know those games are full of poor players who are constantly complaining about the game being rigged.
They CANT be bad at poker, so the system must be rigged against them.
As if multi-billion dollar industries are going to risk the billions of dollars they make every year, by colluding the game, just so you can have a bad day.
As you can see in poker, as in Hearthstone, winning or losing, people just can't seem to quit. I had an opiate addiction for 8 years, and people act if not playing a video game is somehow worse than the 3 weeks I spent shitting myself, puking everywhere, immeasurable body pain, etc
People will play. They can't stop. No one needs to rig anything. There's literally no benefit, and all risk.

Uh, 2 of the 4 top tier decks in tempostorm are priest decks.

You are delusional beyond help. Go back to playing "almost professional poker."
