I have played this game since its start and know what to do, but what I experience this month is ridiculous!
Net-decking a legendary Priest-deck, I play 10 games, lose all of them!
Make my own deck, OTK, with inner fire et al: I play 10 games, lose all of them!
Try Galagrond Deck; any given variation, play 12 games, lose them all.
Had I not been high-ranked numerous times before, I'd say, git gud, but this is beyond crazy. I feel jinxed.
How to break the spell? Need wanted-.--
Dude as a control player (shaman) i hate priest very much but i have to admit that priest & shaman suck a lot in this zoo meta. Board presence is everything, if you can't afford to spam teh board every turn you suck huge dicks. My fun homebrew deck made me to legend previous season and now i suck even to f2ps with Chillwind Yeti in season begin.
Priest players did this to themselves. All your stupid douchebag control pushed the meta to hyper aggro. I don't like playing dumb fast aggro, but was left with no choice because of you turds.
I can't help but laugh at the people who claim "priests deserve this" - "you did it to your self" - "priest players (you) just suck"
If that's the way you feel then, well, when you get irritated because of a certain deck, mechanic, losing streak or class - then just suck it up because:
You deserve it, you did it to yourself, and (insert class (you)) just suck.
As for the OP - I've had the same issue a couple of times in the past, my simple fix was to just log off and not touch HS for a day. Come back to it fresh another day and start up again. I usually start to see some forward momentum then.
Not really related to the class, but I experienced something similar a on the last day of last season. It was so bad that for the first time, I didn't even use up my star bonus, and ended the season at Platinum 4.
A seemingly endless series of bad matchups and opponents with perfect luck. No less than 3 opponents in a row topdecked lethal with 1-2 cards in hand, about 20 cards left in the deck, one turn before I could heal out of reach (I played Warlock mostly). Or a perfect opener, followed by a perfect curve, or everything "random" producing perfect, soulcrushing results. And these things happened every single game for well over two hours.
Sometimes, it feels like the game just wants you to quit, like you are not supposed to play on that day.
Best you can do is to take a break and hope it works better next time you try. If the meta is not in favor of your deck, it makes sense to switch. But if you know your deck can and should perform better against the stuff you are facing, and you still have a miserable time, just stop playing for a day or two.
Yes I had exactly the same with my mage, I think the problem is that the game makes you tilt. Yes luck is a factor, especially when your opponent has not only a worse deck then you but also makes mistakes, despite this his RNG can save him and your RNG can kill you. I still think that RNG favors the payer, whenever I get a Khadgar (paid for character) as opponent for example (if someone pays for his char it means he throws shitloads of money to the game), whenever this is my opponent and they throw in a puzzlebox I know that none of the 10 spells will be negative top him.
I had a somewhat similar experience. About 2 weeks into this season I decided to go play some hearthstone. I Didn't have a lot of new cards, so I just brought my trusty Galakrond Priest deck from last season. I just got stomped. Everything was stomping me. I tried tech ing my deck with some extra aoe. didn't help a bit.
I would try the Highlander Priest, but I dusted my Dragonqueen and don't care to recraft her. So, I've simply been sitting out this season. Hoping that the new game mode brings me some enjoyment.

I agree with the hyper agro statement. However, I played pure control warrior to legend last season riding hunter, rogue and paladin. So there IS a choice.
Maybe you weren't annoying enough for your opponents to concede ? cause i do when they steal my best cards to beat me, oh wait they can steal my turn too now...

The quantity of stealing is crazy.
2x Cabal priestess
2x Spellburst cabal priestess
2x thoughtsteal
2x mind vision
2x 1-mana steal
1x Murazond
1x Deathrattle steal guy
1x Discover steal
1x Steal entire hand
I mean, steal doesn't even make sense for Priest from a flavor perspective. It should be a Rogue thing.
In a related matter, it's now common for Priest and Mage to run 10+ legendaries in a single deck.

I kinda stopped reading at priest + net-decking. Any good player would know what they are doing wrong and get out of the funk.

As it is a given, considering Priest players, this makes me happy to know.
Theres some justice FeelsGoodMan
blad priest needs a bigtime buff and ting you know. priest is a tier 3 deck when it should be tier 1.

That's how hearthstone 2020 works.

Cute, ineffective, but cute.
It's because priest has no real game ender
Keymaster Alabaster come faster
You need more practice with the deck or you had a really bad luck streak.
Last month i've reach legend with standar HL priest. I think that inner fire decks are weak nowadays, keep trying with other archetypes.

This makes you tilt.
yo if u lost 30 games in a row u are the problem there m8 not your deck.
the same, playing from the beta, and leaving and returning to the game, for long periods of time.
I caught my deck and couldn't win for many days, netdeck / homemade deck / trash deck / jank deck nothing worked.
So I went back to the basics, learning how to play, how to improve, deck guides, etc.
this one helped me a lot to remember

I'm not a good player, but now I win and lose I guess normally ...

I'm 10-0 so far day one with the same deck.
This seems to be the best priest list for me right now. https://hsreplay.net/decks/xbLAtbeh2LuAnDvDWpNzdg/#gameType=RANKED_STANDARD
It has enough early game to compete with the aggro with combos like Pyro + Apo and generally a lower curve with cheap minions and spells.
The highlander variants seem too inconsistent and the Galakrond variants too slow for this ridiculously aggressive meta.
But it's still tier 2-3 at best.
Maybe you weren't annoying enough for your opponents to concede ? cause i do when they steal my best cards to beat me, oh wait they can steal my turn too now...
Glad to hear it.
