I believe it's the one thing that keeps shaman from competing competently. Card draw should be a standard feature in every class not a noted weakness. Bring back Ancestral Knowledge, but with 1 overload or draw 3 instead.
Shaman: Shamans wield the power of the elements along with their trusty totems. While they may not be able to generate resources as quickly as a Mage, they are able to overload their Mana Crystals with lightning, allowing them to ramp up for a burst of power faster than other classes. Shamans are thus rewarded for planning a few turns ahead by tuning their mana curve. Shamans also have strong tools to adapt to many situations. Although they are not as versatile as a Druid’s Choose One cards, they are able to extend their capabilities in ways other classes might not be able to.

It's a ridiculous statement since in order to plan ahead you need enough card draw to make planning relevent. The only SHaman deck that currently has decent card draw/generation is quest shaman, but it suffers from having to use relatively weak tempo card geenartion and draw mechanics. (though Panther has helped a lot. )
Why you are not able to understand that is part of Blizzard's decision in not giving card draw to shaman. Why is this so difficult to understand?
You should probably be another guy complaining about how good is Secret Passage and why rogue, druid and DM are able to draw and shaman no.
It is always the same reason, class identity. Shaman has big minions, taunts, heals, board clear, tokens and so on. Class identity, is this so difficult to understand?

True. But it is also true the “allowing them to ramp up for a burst of power faster than other classes” is just false. I mean, many if the cards with overload are too expensive when we add the coast and the overload. For instance, 8 mana for 4 2/2 with rush or 2 mana for +1/+1 is too much...

How many face spells has shaman? How many face spells has priest? So it is true.

I found this funny because Shaman hasn't had a competitive Murloc or Elemental deck for years now. Even totems don't really count but I guess it "exists" so we'll let it slide for now just so to not call 3/5 of Blizzard's strengths for Shaman an utter failure.
Oh and then on the flipside, their weakness of card generation is probably actually the strongest in the game given their assortment of discover cards like Fireheart, Marshspawn, Sludge Slurper, Swamp Queen Hagatha, Evil Totem and then quest + all neutral battlecry minions to boot.
Honestly I think that Class Identity Post Blizzard released was put together in 10 minutes by someone who just wanted to make it out of the office by 5pm that day. It's a joke.
I think when you list "card draw" and "card generation" as BOTH weaknesses in a class... that's kind of a problem. Unless your class is like... Hunter, and can make up for a lack of card draw with huge tempo plays and massive burst and reach and some cycle, I dunno that "can't get cards" is a good weakness for a class. Or if it's Paladin where it can just put out massive amounts of stats onto the board, and has some pretty good refresh.
Having said that: Shaman has... a fair amount of card generation, and some decent card cycle. Also excluding it's classic/basic set, it's card pool is overall pretty good, and most of it's generation effects are discover effects. So I don't think Shaman is that bad, and I wouldn't expect to see them adding card draw to it any time soon.
Does Priest have draw I'm unaware of? People are constantly complaining about the strength of Priest, yet (as far as I can tell), Shaman has far better draw options than Priest, or Paladin for that matter (hand of Al'ar aside), how about Warrior?
If you're going to disagree with me, fine, but If you disagree without telling me what is incorrect about my statement, I'll take that as a sign that I'm right.

The whole identity of the class has evolved to stealing cards from their opponent and generating cards through Sethhek or Galakrond combined with the fact that every deck in the meta consists of nothing but board clears, single target removals or other nonsense to stall your opponent who - unless they are aggro - has to constantly think of conserving resources for the war of attrition they've enlisted themselves in.
You don't need card draw when your path to victory is preventing the other player from playing the game.
I wonder how long it will take until shaman has better draws.
Would it take 4 months? Or 8 months?
Or will shaman become a slothmachine of generating cards while suffering in the progress.
Also i meant draw cards

Why would you want to draw cards when you can have terrible 5 drop minions who clear your board of other terrible minions
Blizzard hearthstone balance is as accurate as wow balancing

Priest, Shaman, and Paladin need better draw
Are Crystology and Divine Favor not good enough for you?
They only fit in specific decks. Just saying.
Shamans can wait in line, Priest needs card draw more than Shaman.
I'm obviously talking about standard.
Priest has more card gen then the law even allows.
